so i upgraded my grand 2 device the very same day it got out,the problems i faced are 1.the screen takes about 1 sec to open(lag) 2.i cannot takes calls while using s view cover like before but i can still play music while using the cover

My Grand2, had similr problems after updating, restarting every two mins, i took it to service centre where they said the fone is rooted and not covered under warrenty. even after explaining that all i did was just update software from the update menu, they refused. i tried resetting, and phone became absolutely dead and bricked. took it to a different serv centre and now they are gonna replace the motherboard ...under warrenty....keeping fingers crossed.....but i lost trust in samsung and their pathetic cust. support

You would have to reset the phone. I had the same issue. Reset it and worked fine.:( BUt was really disappointed since all my datat was deleted

the update is really good there is no problem i updated it through software update and the lock and home screen wallpaper is also changing the
Mobile is also not restarting get it updated

hi.I am from india. i have samsung galaxy grand 2.yesterday i have upgraded my grand 2 with official 4.4.2 kitkat.after updation i found my front camera shows blur camera.(in 1.9 mp mode). no problem in 0.9 mp mode..please help me to fix this probles ASAP.thank you

After upgrading to 360.90 mb kitkat update wallpaper is not changing from gallery... notification ringtone is also not changing , i ve to restart every time after setting s view color...

I have updated my grand 2 over the air yesterday. But after that I cant able to use my mobile because of restarting automatically frequently. And could not able to connect to wi-fi also. Now the mobile worth Rs.more than 20K became totally a useless piece. Why Samsung is doing such stupid things.Anybody can suggest some thing to solve the problem?

Hi yesterday I upgraded my grand 2 to android 4.4.2 kit kat . After updating to kit kat am facing problem. It's reboot or restart automatically again in again. So don't upgrade to kit kat

how to get to safe mode
Safe mode:switch off your device->switch on and hold volume rocker down button for few seconds-> you will get option there for safe mode,use mobile for few hours->switch off and switch on,now yourmobile will be ready to use and there will be no restart problem

Hi yesterday i tried upgrading my grand 2 to android 4.4 kitkat version but somehow it got stuck to screen showing could be boot message showing downloading Dont turn off target!! what do i do it has been hours since my phone is showing this message
