Hi yesterday i tried upgrading my grand 2 to android 4.4 kitkat version but somehow it got stuck to screen showing could be boot message showing downloading Dont turn off target!! what do i do it has been hours since my phone is showing this message

Safe mode:switch off your device->switch on and hold volume rocker down button for few seconds->use mobile for few hours->switch off and switch on ☺now yourmobile will be ready to use and there will be no restart problem

After upgrading to Kitkat Version Samsung Grand 2 restarts automatically while using whatsapp or any application.Its really irritating...Hope it will work with solution of Factory Reset..Let me try this

MIne also the same problem phone get restarted every 15sec when i call coutomer care they say go to service centre and service centres says no official update has launched yet samsung are making fool of us

The Same problem was faced by me in Samsung Grand 2 then I got the solution, You have to reset to factory setting in order to avoid restarting problem. Suppose if you are unable to reset your phone via software then try Hard reset that is press on/off switch + home button + volume up key it will give some option in that there is erase everything option available click and try it.
Hopefully your problem will be solved.

After updating My Phone is restarting after every one or two minute. It is consuming more Battery and getting Hot. Some of the Apps not working and also I can not download any thing including Apps. I can't even send/ receive SMS.

HI everybody! All those of you who have a problem after installing Kit Kat on the Grand 2, please do a factory reset after backing up your data. the Dialer problem and the restarting problem would disappear. If you have any running launchers please stop them and update while on touchwiz. All apps would later install automatically and phone would work normally. After this too there would be 2-3 automatic restarts but then the phone stabilises. Also there is a noticeable difference in battery life after the upgrade. Not much of other visible significant changes.
