commentator, 14 May 2009Iphone is just more on entertainment and fun. it doesn't do... moreFYI, the iphone is more than just for entertainment and fun. You obviously do not own one. It offers so many features that are very useful for day to day activities. The iphone is full touchscreen phone, so of course you cannot type w/out looking at the virtual keyboard. But then you get a thinner device without the creaky quality that phones w/ pullout qwerty keyboards have. And as for having grease or oil on your fingers, Iphone or not, touchscreen or not, you need to wipe your greasy fingers first before operating any phone. If you prefer e90 or e71, that's fine, but don't tell us that the iphone is just for kids because it is not. I can do so many important things with my iphone that you cannot with your e71 or e90.

Da, 15 May 2009Why is Apple releasing a completely new phone with things t... moreYour question does not make sense at all. Apple is releasing a new iphone with some hardware updates. Samsung, Nokia and SE do that a lot way more often than Apple. So I don't know why you sound so surprised with Apple releasing a new iphone, lol. Are you stupid? I think you are =)

Anonymous, 15 May 2009Radio is important depends on where you live... I rememb... moreAnd also, there are several apps for real time traffic on the iphone. There are several apps for news as well for the iphone. And honestly, I didn't even bother with those apps. Because it's like, what can I do? Fly? And as I have said, my car has radio. If it's a state of emergency situation, there would be a beep. And I'm sure that my family would call my cellphone right away if there is any major calamity going on while I'm driving.

Anonymous, 14 May 2009What's sad is, people like you who uses your phone to liste... moreRadio is important depends on where you live...
I remember once I was stuck in traffic for over 6 hours (out of a 1 hour journey) in US due to flooding. I was listening to radio but none of the (music) station ever mentioned anything about the flooding and tell people to avoid unnecessary traffic.
Where I live right now, regardless of radio station, I always get constant news updates at least once every hour, from traffic to weather (especially in severe conditions), or other important news...(such as avoid the "phone street" as some mad guy poured some chemicals from a high rise apartment! In that case I knew the details from radio, while the others on the street still had little idea what was going on)
16GB of songs can never offer any of those....and don't tell me to login to the internet, because internet news can never be as updated as on the radio.

Unless someone is "spiteful", there can't be, anyone, who does not realize that the iPHONE project and the product itself, IS a "league" of its own...What if it does not pretain "wow" features other phones boast...SO WHAT?..The touch interface, alone, IS, THE feature. It is the extension of one's finger, it is awesome / unique...ONE OF A KIND...NOKIAs are great, so are S/Es, SAMSUNGs, WinMOs etc etc. However, none can match the iPHONE (yet)...and once APPLE releases the new model, well...I can hardly imagine which OEM will dare to claim any inovation, even if he meets the specs...

Sure, let Apple make another piece of junk device with half the specs and all the price of a REAL good phone... And all you're paying for is that little fruity logo. They never deserved the hype they received.

I have an iphone 3g and I must say its the best phone i've ever had. But I don't think I would upgrade to the new iphone coming out. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade. I have a canon point and shoot camera for pics so the camera doesn't appeal much to me. And since the 3.0 OS is available for older iphones to upgrade to, there's no rush to buy a new iphone. I'm more excited to see what they are going to offer next year, since they hired new chip engineers and designers. The feature I hope apple adds is flash support. That's something we really need badly in the update. Everything else is pretty much covered in the 3.0 OS.

Anonymous, 14 May 2009No slider keyboatd no stylus and handwriting input no dua... moreIf you really want a stylus you can get an after market one. Dunno why anyone (except girls with long nails) would want one. The keyboard is great. A physical keyboard would add tons of thickness to the handset. No one cares about the dual sim card feature. And barely any phones have that anyways. The charger port is good enough since most people have ipods anyways. And it comes with headphones with a mic attached. Plus if your complaining about something as stupid as that, you probably don't own a single set of headphones yourself which is pretty sad. It has a 3.5mm jack

So I was using an N82 before I got an iPhone, I prefer the iPhone so don't even use the N82 any more.
So what can any new Nokia offer that my N82 can't do?
Pretty much NOTHING.
So you can keep on with the whining and all the other rubbish about this and that phone BUT nothing compares to what the iPhone DOES!
