will this update improve the Bluetooth oonnectivity..?
after the official 8.1 update sometimes my Bluetooth devices does not work anymore ....they work only for some time after a factory reset.......and then the problem returns

I dont mind the lack of app. The only lack of it are popular games. Im using it as well to practice my programming skill.

windows phone 8.1 does lag too, stop pretending that the os wont lagging. some apps were crashing as well even it was made by microsoft (this is part of the app developer). my primary smartphone is lumia 1520. why im using it? because i like the ui design and frequenty using office 365.

Here are some of the features in WP8.1 GDR1
•Support for 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution
•Diagonal screen sizes of 6.01" to 7" are now supported for the 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution
•540 x 960 native qHD resolution is now supported in addition to the ability to scale from HD or WVGA resolution to qHD
•Diagonal screen sizes up to 6" and on phones that use the MSM8x12 applications processor now support 540 x 960 qHD resolution
•Dual SIM – C + G radio type is now supported for dual SIM phones
•Bluetooth – PAN (personal area network) 1.0 profile, aptX codec support for A2DP, and browsing support for AVRCP are now supported
•Support for a Store live tile when the tile is medium-sized
•The size of the Store tile has been standardized for all layouts and some tiles have changed places on the Start screen.
•Support for folders.
•Enable a phone cover app to launch when the phone cover is closed and specify the default setting for the lock screen's auto unlock setting.
•Cortana – Add a phone book entry for Cortana to allow users to initiate speech from a car that doesn't have support for activating speech on the phone that is connected over Bluetooth.
•Network Time Protocol support – Automatically set the time, using an NTP client, in a Windows Phone device that doesn't support NITZ or when cellular data is not available.
•Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support
•OEMs can implement a custom lock screen
•OEMs can preload the Files app
•Added a note that all Wi-Fi Sense settings must be on unless Microsoft executive approval has been granted for specific mobile operator requests.

ans: Yes and No. No because people who go for android would prefer xiaomi phone for better features and price point (is better than Samsung too) they wont be able to get a android nokia! :D
Yes because WP isnt resource hungry like android and Nokia is worth it. The nokia name is legendary in India. Nokia killed Motorola in India. Indians aren't fools. they are the most demanding customers but they also understand quality. Toyota have been quite famous in India even thou Volkswagen offers very cheaper cars like Skoda rapid etc. Toyota in India come with just adequate number of features and it more expensive. My dads landcruiser came with a 7 CD changer in the (year 2008 i guess). Luckily the Prius came with an MP3 player but not with touch screen. :D but all Toyotas have the lowest maintainence cost including the landcruiser prado. Raliability has been fantastic. Innova cost 4k (routine service) to repair while hyundai Verna never cost below 15k (figures taken from customer complaints) LOL. Xiaomi is Chinese...that Chinese word is quite important there so xiaomi sales will not be spectacular forever. India and china has good relationship with each other :D till date no Chinese product have done well without a foreign brand name. Even when device failures ...they said "Made in China. what do you except". micromax is a hit in India why? it Indian company which markets Chinese phones

But... moreIndia Wp has more than 7% market share FYI. that quite huge achievement considering all devices sold were WP 8 and not WP 8.1. WP is the 3rd largest ecosystem in mobile industry. and that wont change because Microsoft has lots of money. have you seen how many patent MS has added in last few months. most of them related to wearable devices

There are no tiles inside folders. i guess you don't even own an Samsung android device. heard of app drawers??? icons get saved inside folders. same with windows tiles. it displays as folder with icons like native Windows (folders have thumbnails on it) and the folder is link to an app like Nokia folders. what Microsoft is doing is making this a os feature rather than an app because apps have loading time.

For how long you have been tapping on icons all these years till Windows Phone existed? Really? FYI, Windows 7 is a more welcome Windows than Win8. Just go ask around. Google it etc. "10x10 pixel icons"? Guess how the Start screen will look like when we are going to have tiles inside folder. Thats just so messy!

Even with low end budgeted phones, people just don't like Windows Phone, especially with Nokia a goner now. They have no confident with tiles at all. Strongest market in india? But yet market shares will merely 4%? Do you actually believe that??

Tiles are tiles. And as a matter of facts, the only popular Windows Phones are from Nokia. Customers are just tired of seeing the same lumia in different sizes. See how different Androids are with Sony, HTC, Samsung, LG, Huawei, etc etc.
