Moreover the touch interface on windows mobile is more responsive than on android.
Now normal smooth and pleasant scrolling and responsive
touch interface is nothing special about. So Microsoft has just a normal system how it should be. I have no idea why google cannot fix those issues. Maybe it has to do with how android designed or wrong graphics. I don't know. Any suggestions, please let me know.

That's very true. People who haven't
tried a windows phone keep praising android.
All Android devices have a light scrolling lag
or very unpleasant and not smooth scrolling.
Iphone has unpleasant scrolling as well.
1)Unpleasant and not smooth means, that the page does flow by itself only for a short period of time and then quickly stops. That means you have to constantly keep tapping the screen to keep scrolling through photos or articles.
2)Scrolling lag means that while it.s flowing
the lines of the article are lightly shaking or lightly
blinking which make you skip the article or item while you scrolling and then have to scroll back a little or scroll very slow without letting it flow by itself!
Anyone who tells me that any android device has no issues stated above either didn't have a windows phone (and therefore don't see it )or deliberately lying.

Kaboat, 27 Jul 2014This OS will rule the world sooner than later because of it... morePeople use iPhones and Android because they are popular but having used them all, I prefer Windows Phone better. It's not boring like iOS and much more reliable OS than Android.

He even went further to test me using a Windows phone which I passed with flying colours. How myopic he was!

windows platform is one of a kind..
bringing these changes will be a great blow to android and ios ....
especially after the 8.1 update, their is a significant growth in windows phone sales.......

I don't see custom ROM's for windows phone.... you just can't beat something open source available to the public for free.

GDR1 ? I'm still waiting for 8.1! Microsoft - could we concentrate on getting us all on the the same OS version first please?

Now its features are coming close to other mobile OS i.e. Android and IOS. Will love to try next real flagship phone something like 1020. Expecting it will be released soon.

This OS will rule the world sooner than later because of its sleek functionality and affordability on mid-range phones and all. Microsoft only has to push Windows phones to the market like no other. It's a shame the major mobile phones outlets in my country of residence, the UK, 'push' prospective customers to Android and iOS phones when one enquires about a windows phone.
