Now why take it out on droiders iShit? You should think that not all droid users are aggressors, but i see that a lot of apple sheep are and always start the debate, what is better. Think, why droiders attack less, because we understand that everyone has their needs and choose what they prefer more. You like tinkering with your phone and understand linux - have a droid, you need something smarter than to just make phone calls and write messages - have an overpriced iPhone, you want something classy - vertu or something with leather, titanium and platnum.

What is big upgrades in your book? I dont see any Galaxy S or Note that has had as mindblowing news as TouchID and 64bit chipset was, the nearest i get is Xperia T to Xperia Z, now that was serious improvement but mainly because T was so crappy. Bigger and "more of the same" is hardly innovation for anyone expect diehard Android fans.

4 million can't be accurate. I know Apple has a lot of super die hard fans, but selling 4 million pre-orders of anything is borderline insane and unbelievable. I bet many of those "orders" were people constantly trying to refresh the Apple store site, so there will be a lot of duplicate orders that will eventually be canceled.

I don't hate Apple products, on the contrary, I find them quite well build, fast, and reliable. The issue here is the price. For the same price, you get better specs. I won't come up with examples as I don't want you to believe I'm trolling.
It's as simple as evidence itself. And yet, there are still so many people buying apple products. That only proves my friend, as I wrote below, that they have a marketing strategy many of us could learn from.
I shot my first underwater movie with a phone last summer. My brother has been wearing a watch that has the ability to display emails etc etc for a year and a half now. And then, I go online and find out that Apple has just invented the iwatch (which is correct, but they did not invent smartwatches altogether). And 4 million misinformed people go straight to the store and preorder them. That's fabulous. That's so great that I would really like to meet their marketing director. Or, even better, those 4.000.000 people ;)

Shellshock, 15 Sep 2014iPhone 6 will be sold like crazy because people who left iO... moreiPhone buyers are mostly contract buyers, the migration back to iOS will take time, esp in USA where contracts dominate the smartphone market and contracts are very long, typically 24 months. Even owners of old phones, for example Galaxy S4 owners who got their S4 at launch have to wait half a year more, Note 3 owners got at least another year.
My guess is that the first wave is iPhone5 owners, those who have 5s or 5c will [have to] wait for the iPhone 6s.
Will be interesting to see how iPhone 6/6+ does in China and South East Asia, unfortunately its not launching early in most of the region, mostly only high profile places like Singapore and Hong Kong get early availability.

I hope Samsung launches Note 4 pre orders and an early release date asap. IPhone 6+ is Apple's direct competitor to Note 4, and although Note 4 is a more complete device as a smartphone, sales will be hurt the more Samsung delays it. Waiting eagerly for the release date.

What Apple did not change was the resolution 326PPI and that trusty 8MP camera still there since 2011 on the IP4S
The Gorilla Glass has been released back into the wild
and Apple have unfortunately misplaced the Sapphire glass, so now regular shatter proof, best stop there.
Am I still missing something as with a larger display
ALL contract prices have soared to now pass £1000($1624 / €1254) 2 year contract for the 16GB iPhone6
The price increase must? have something to do with the "historical" specs for the iPhone6
Can you find a phone clearly from 2012 in such good nick, iMean they look brand new
