You should always use iTunes, so every time I connect my phone to the PC should automatically update the OS, so how can this be considered news or achievement of the company?

What it doesn't show is the majority are unhappy with the lag, shorter battery life, etc. and want to revert back to iOS 7.1.2. I'll wait until iOS 8.1 for it to mature.
