I am pretty sure Apple will come out with a great ideia for this. For example, don't put your iPhone 6 in your pocket but in your purse. Buy an Ipurse. :-). And guess what Apple fans actually will buy it.

This is the special feature of iPhone 6.

You can make the curved body by bending the metal body.

Again, this is not the product defects.

I bet that Samsung will make use of this to make jokes

So when the iPhone 5 came out, it was scratching so easily and iPhone owners just ignored that, giving excuses like, "I don't mind scratches on my new phone as it gives it that authentic look". WTF???? Now, bendy iPhones! No doubt Apple fanatics will make up any excuse to justify their iPhone, even accepting these bends because the phone is "aluminium and aluminium will bend". So let's get this straight, the phone is not cheap, it is one of the most expensive out there. How the hell could anyone justify this for an expensive phone?

Apple have just gone backwards since the last decent iPhone, the iPhone 4S. People who have bendy iPhones should just claim their money back, then go and buy a premium Android for a little cheaper and with MUCH better hardware. I have an aluminium HTC M8. I can only describe it in one word - gorgeous. This is how a new phone owner should be feeling. Anyone justifying major flaws like easy scratching and bending have just clearly been brainwashed.

So it looks like none of Apple engineers have actually tested the phone in the pocket?

Steve must be turning over in his grave.

AnonD-262634, 24 Sep 2014You realize that iPhone 6 used aluminium right? Yes, but that has no bearing on what I was responding to. The original comment was a flawed (though valid) comparison with Samsung's use of polycarbonate, despite the material alone isn't the main issue here.

The gold comment was merely an illustrative comparison.

I can't believe people are blaming their jeans as to why their brand new iPhone is bending. We had big screen phones way before this and never get this problem. Apple rush to impress people about numbers of sale .that's good for them .

I was expecting the iphone 6 to have its usual limited iOS but to have pretty good design and specs. The specs and now build quality are a real letdown even tho many iSh eep won't admit it.

Imagine if a Samsung, Sony or Nokia device bent because you were silly enough to put it in your FRONT pocket.
