Same as usual, if anyone finds fault in their devices, they just brush aside the allegations saying it's extremely rare and in unusual situations. This is how they have been fooling the people and what's interesting is that people do like to be fooled over and over again. As long as such sheep exists, there is no danger of going out of business for such companies. Pathetic situation...

taw cali, 26 Sep 2014all phones are bendable. its just that it happened in iphon... moreover reacting?
the guy put his brand new iphone 6 in his pocket.
after days of use, the iphone bent.
i can understand if he's over-reacting.
afterall, he spend his hard-earned money on the -supposedly- premium phone that easily bend in only few days of normal use.

How widespread is this bending problem?
Why don't people stop buying it or return it?
Who really worry about this?

Apple has always put form over function with a lot of their products.
The glass back on the iPhone 4 was a totally dumb idea and led to so many broken backs that whole cottage industries emerged to fix them. (Maybe Auto body shops will start offering to repear bent iPhones?)
The latest generation 21.5 inch iMacs no longer have user configurable RAM, just so it can have thin edges to create the optical illusion of a thin device (who ever knew thin was desirable in a massive 21.5 inch desktop computer).
The the Mac Pro with it's darth vadar cylindrical design is far less configurable and holds fewer hard drives than previous Mac Pros (and pretty much any other professional tower desktop design).
Steve Jobs famously busted the asses of the original Mac engineers to make the layout of the internal electronics pretty (as well as the layout of the manufacturing facility). This had zero functional value, drove Apple employees crazy, but helped create the Steve Jobs myth.
It's just the Apple way. They make beautiful (but not always functional) devices, that convince the Apple herd of their superiority to everyone else, and it is that sense of superiority that is Apple's primary product. It's the most brilliant branding, marketing, and PR campaign in business history--and it is Steve Jobs' true legacy.

all phones are bendable. its just that it happened in iphone 6 then suddenly people are over reacting. if you have problem with iphone 6, then dont buy one, and if you have already bought one, take god care of it. dont bend it like those people doing in youtube. common sense guys, there's no destructible phones out there.
