iPhone 3G S is out in Spain... maybe a handfull of people managed to get one but I haven´t been so lucky.... travelled round loads of Movistar shops only to be told they don´t have them in stock. I might have to wait 2 months to get my hands on one!!!!

Does anyone out there know what is going on???... All the shops have all the point of sale.....you stand in the queue for at least 40 minutes (they are very slow) only to get to your turn and be disappointed!!!

It's a pitty seeing iphone user were stubborn user that would vote iphone the best and trying to lie on the iphone weakness. This would make all user that chosse iphone over something else be judge badly by non iphone user.

Apple did bring evolution to the way we use the mobile phone. Unfortantely, iphone become lazy like the detroit three. If apple did not make any new evolution. It will extinct too.

On the other hand, nokia, once the market leader, feel threat from iphone. iphone almost make them extinct. but they manage to do very great. and it seems at the end nokia were able to stay afloat in this business (unlike ericson & motorola & siemens).

So, i have nothing against iphone. I just wish that iphone do something great one more time or two more times. I also wish iphone supportor be gentle and admit defeat. and at the same time, push apple to face the reality.... their not the best anymore...

So who defined the users' "experience" being silly? Only u?

"You said "She realized she can only dial contacts from phone book, but not any other number. Does that have anything to do with BT file / photo transfer?" You are not making any sense. There are several ways of accessing contacts with the iphone."

The case was to demonstrate in case something happens to the phone and photos and other files are in the memory of the phone, the phone cannot be taken to service immediately unless one either emails out the photos or go home and download them first, instead of a convenient way by simply BT to another person's phone. If you love to email / transfer files and wait for the next day to get your phone repaired, that's your choice however again other opinions should be respected.

"You asked "How did you know her BF was in MX? How did u know her BF was interested in the photo of a desert? How did u know her BF was rite in front of a laptop?" Well how did you know that she didn't bring her digital camera? And why can't she have a bf in Mexico. I'm just creating a scenario just like you are =)"

If my colleague brought her own camera, I doubt she would ask me to take the photo for her. Who is silly here? BTW, the case happened in China, not Mexico, and no, she doesn't have any BF in MX.

"You said "Where we had lunch, e-mails can possibly scanned by the gov. but certainly not BT file transfer." And what has the govt got to do with emailing photos to a bf? LOL. And how can you BT a file to Mexico? LOL"

Again, my colleague knows noone in MX. There is a possibility email gets scanned by the gov and get lost, but BT file transfer to another phone cannot be controlled by the gov.

"You said "Seems like you had little experience with video call, because most phones with video call do NOT ONLY shoot people's face, rather they have a function call "external view" which one can shoot an object to further confirm." No one is using video calling OK. Get real. It's not even supported by some carriers. And if it is, it is for sure expensive. It is impractical. I have never seen anyone use it, but of course you'd probably say you use it every day right? LOL"

Not supported by carriers? How did I make my video calls in HK, Taiwan and Japan?

"You said "Plus in my case I was "searching" for something in my old house, how many photos I would need to take instead of a simple video call so I could narrow my search?" It's your old house, why would you even video all someone else to find something in your OWN house? LOL . Your scenarios are ridiculous, lol."

Because you never search for anything and would need advice by someone else?

My case is like having GPS navigation "with" the maps...while voice calls only mean voice only navigation. Maybe u will start calling people who use map navigation being silly...becasue voice can do the job.

"You said "Let me know if your mom / grandma can use a laptop....especially from a hospital. And how would the video clip be transferred on the laptop? 3G? (don't tell me wifi because it simply NOT everywhere)" Hospitals do not allow cell phones silly willy. Grandmas can't even send SMS much more video call, lol. But of course you're going to tell us that your grandma is an electronic engineer from Harvard who helped develop video calling right? LOL"

Doesn't take a genius to make a video call, as the video call button is just an extra button next to send.

My parents are over 70 and they certainly know how to make video calls...as to them it's just like voice calls...with only one extra button. No, they don't SMS at all.

"The BIG majority of mobile users do not use video calling alright. Video chatting is more popular over the internet using your laptop of desktop computer. THAT IS THE PRACTICAL TRUTH."

The truth is, not everybody is carrying a laptop everywhere, otherwise we will only see MacBooks instead of iphones.

Segev, 26 Jun 2009"Does your Omnia have touch focus?" Ummmm No, but it got f... moreWell the other guy was asking me for a camera feature that the iphone has that the omnia doesn't. So I said "touch to focus". I didn't bring that feature up to say that the iphone is the better camera phone. So please read and understand before you butt in =)

The iphone's camera is good for its purpose. It's photo processing software is good enough to produce clear, decent quality photos. If I go to a special event, I use my digital camera, which I would still be using even if I had the omnia. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be nice to have a better camera on your phone, but realistically, there are other more important features on a phone than its camera that one should consider.

Hey silly, I know that other phones have voice command as well. But others are limited to making calls only, and you even have to set up and pre-program it by saying and recording the contact name first. No need to do that with the iphone. Also, the iphone's voice command is not limited to calling contacts only. It stretches to its music player, identifying the song and artist, or even creating a playlist. Can your omnia hd do that? No. And guess what? People use their music players more often than their cameras.

Well the iphone's display really proved to be scratch resistant. Omnia still has to prove it. Other phones claim to have scratch resistant touchscreens, yet they scratch easily. Don't laugh at the oil and water resistance of the iphone's display. That is important for touchscreen phones. If you ever went to school, you would know that our skin NATURALLY produces/secretes oil. That is basic human anatomy in high school.

I don't care if the omnia's under sunlight legibility is not as bad as other AMOLED displays. It is inferior to the iphone's legibility under direct sunlight, PERIOD. What good is an AMOLED display if you cannot operate it in bright light conditions? Maybe they should improve on that BASIC feature first before improving megapixels =)

Can you upload videos from your omnia directly to YouTube? That was the question.

LOL, samsung has twice the number of apps from the apple apps store? Which app store is this? Please share :)

Of course you are jealous. Just the fact that you would call high tech device as the iphone "primitive" is a sign of bitter jealousy =) Sorry sir, but megapixels is not the brain of a smartphone, it's the OS.

You're here to display your bitterness, lol. You cannot take it anymore, so you have to vent out your jealousy.

So you say that the iphone is behind other phones. The iphone has more memory and faster than most phones out there. And you say it's behind? LOL. Again, because you are basing it on megapixels, hahahahaha. Gosh. The iphone's design, and performance, and UI is being copied by those phones that you have mentioned, and you have the nerve to say that the iphone is behind them? LOL. They're even trying to copy the Apple App Store for Pete's sake (and miserably failed).

If you think that browsing the web 3x faster than most phones, sleeker and smoother UI, more ease of loading and flipping through photos, more ease of scrolling, panning and zooming photos and web pages, better music player, convenient access to thousands of apps, having better email app than most, and having the best OS are shallow and tiny advantages, I really don't know if there is anything that the iphone can do that would make you like it. But then, no one is forcing your to like it.

You know what? Stick with your omnia. It won't hurt my feelings a bit =)

                                Lol Jealous... nice joke =)
Why would i be jealous in a phone that have so much primitive features?

I'm here, to help curing some of the guys who have "I-Phone obsession"
Iphone was a nice phone somwhere in 2007...
NowDays, the iPhone is far behind a lot of phones, as Omnia HD, N97, PIXON12, OMNIA2, Satio, HTC Touch HD, LG viewty Smart, Lg Arena, and it goes on and on.

AND BTW, All of those Iphone "advantages" you wrote, are very shallow and Tiny, and those are clearly lame excuses of the I-Phone owners to try justify why their phone is the best...

If il right the Omnia HD's Advantages, it won't end... =)

In its first three days of availability, Apple sold more than a million iPhone 3GS models. The company also announced that six million customers downloaded iPhone OS 3.0 software in the five days since its release on June 17. “Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning,” said Steve Jobs. “With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.”

That's a very silly thing to say. Does your omnia have touch focus? Visual voicemail? Voice Commands? Fingerprint resistant display? Water and oil resistant display? Direct sunlight legibility? Direct YouTube video upload? Thousands of Apps? OS X?

If the iphone is lame as you would like it to be, I don't think you would be here mister =) Admit it that you are bitter and jealous that the iphone's touch UI and OS performance is still the one to beat. And no amount of megapixels can compensate for the iphone's lead =)

Are you that silly that you would argue with an iphone owner about how its keyboard works? The iphone has international keyboards. You can change the characters on its soft keyboard by going to settings, general, international, and then keyboards. From there you can choose which keyboard language you want to use that the iphone supports. So please don't be silly and just admit defeat.
