Asus ROG Phone 9 series launch date revealed
With the Snapdragon 8 Elite now official, brands from all over are starting to announce launch dates for their upcoming flagship phones.
Asus has now jumped aboard the Snapdragon 8 Elite express and announced a launch date for its ROG Phone 9 series. The ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro will debut on November 19 at a dedicated event set to start at 12PM CET time (6AM ET/7PM Taipei time).
Asus shared official renders of the ROG Phone 9 which looks identical to the ROG Phone 8 series with an offset pentagon-shaped camera island housing three sensors and a gamer aesthetic back with ROG branding and LED lights. The front has a flat display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The right-hand side also features pressure-sensitive AirTriggers marked with ROG branding.
Asus is also teasing some new AI features with its “AI on, game on” tagline but we did not get details as to what that entails. We’ll surely get more hints in the days leading up to the event so we’ll make sure to update you accordingly.
