Galaxy S25 series leaked marketing materials confirm key specs and new AI features
Samsung is launching its Galaxy S25 series next week on January 22 and Brazilian publication Technoblog shared some official-looking press materials that detail key specs and AI features coming to the new phones.
Galaxy S25+ (and we presume S25) will offer a 50MP main cam with 2x in-sensor zoom, a 10MP 3x telephoto cam and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Both will also feature 12MP selfie cameras. Galaxy S25+ will get the same 4,900 mAh battery capacity as its predecessor which Samsung is advertising to last up to 30 hours for video playback.
Galaxy S25 Ultra is getting the same camera setup as its predecessor – a 200MP main cam with 2x in-sensor zoom, a 50MP periscope with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP “short” telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The only upgrade is the new 50MP ultrawide lens, which replaces the dated 12MP sensor used in the previous Ultras. The front will house a 12MP selfie cam, which comes as no surprise.
The battery on the S25 Ultra will feature a 5,000 mAh capacity just like its predecessors and Samsung claims you’ll be able to watch up to 31 hours of video
All Galaxy S25 series phones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 12GB RAM as standard.
The new leak also details the new AI features launching on the S25 series.
Now Brief will offer personalized summaries for your day with a morning brief, commute brief and evening summary. The morning brief will show info like the weather forecast, your daily schedule and your energy score if you have a Samsung wearable.
The commute brief will start navigation and music playback when you enter a vehicle. The evening summary will brief you on your daily activity trends and “memorable moments” from the day in the form of photo collages.
We also get a sneak peek at the updated Google Gemini integration with Samsung opening up its first-party apps to work with Google’s AI assistant.
You will be able to ask Gemini to read content on your screen from apps like YouTube and then interact with Samsung apps like Samsung Notes.

Battery cycles don't work like tires. The battery lasts several times longer when it is charged less than full capacity. It's similar to "endurance" micro SD cards. The web contains information about this.
