Samsung's tri-fold phone won't come as soon as we hoped
It's the hope that kills you. Just yesterday, we heard a rumor suggesting Samsung is will announce its tri-fold smartphone during the summer Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. But a new report from today comes out to refute those claims.

According to @MaxJmb on X, Samsung is indeed working on a tri-fold smartphone, but it won't arrive on time for the summer Unpacked event. Instead, Samsung is aiming to announce it later on.
As of now, Huawei remains the only company offering such an exotic piece of tech called Mate XT Ultimate. So it's only natural to expect Samsung to respond to its rival with a tri-fold smartphone. It will be interesting to see whether someone else beats Samsung to the punch, though.

Dude, this is just wrong. If this was the case, then all existing folding phones would be called bi-folds!

No, that's not the dictionary definition as "fold" by no way means "part". Fold means "bend something over on itself" and this happens in two places, not three.

I'm not arguing that is the best wording, just saying what is dictionary definition of "tri-fold" - "consisting of three parts".
