Samsung to launch tri-fold smartphone alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7

Samsung has already been rumored to get into the tri-fold action, following in the footsteps of Huawei but going its own way with a different type of tri-fold, one that resembles a G shape versus Huawei's Z style. Samsung's rumored solution has the advantage that, when the device is folded, the folding screen isn't exposed at all, whereas on the Huawei Mate XT it is. The disadvantage of Samsung's solution is that it needs a secondary cover screen.
A new rumor from Korea today claims Samsung will launch the tri-fold device alongside the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, presumably in July if the company uses the same timeline as last year.

Ahead of the unveiling, Samsung will start procuring parts for the device in April, which is also when mass production will allegedly start.
Samsung's tri-fold is said to have a 9.96" screen when unfolded, and a 6.49" cover screen. Samsung is once again rumored to produce only about 200,000 units of this device. Its release might be limited to specific countries.

Are you okay in the head? When closed, it's completely closed, have you never seen a folding wallet? The only thing exposed is the outer screen which is as designed.
