Samsung Galaxy Note8 receives its fourth Android Pie beta update

Ro, 12 February 2019

With the successful rollout of the stable Android Pie for the Galaxy S9 and Note9 lineups, Samsung is now focusing on bringing the Galaxy S8/S8+ and the Note8 a piece of the Pie. They entered the beta stage just last month and the Note8 is already receiving its fourth update. Here's what it has to offer.

As you can see, the changelog is all about those bug fixes, which is a strong indication that the final and stable version of the software is almost baked for the February launch.

However, we assume the rollout will be gradual and not all markets will get a taste of the Pie this month. The Galaxy S9/S9+ and the Note9 rollout took a solid few weeks before everyone received it so some of you may get it in March.

Anyway, the update weighs in at 577MB and carries a build number N950FXXU5ZSB2.

No rush. We dont want buggy android pie like in most phone that rushed android pie last year. Beta is a great way to squash all those bugs.
