Google Pixel 7a goes through Geekbench as announcement nears

Google’s Pixel 7a continues to make rounds online ahead of its announcement next week and the latest leak is a Geekbench test run. The device was spotted bearing the “lynx” codename and managed a 1,380-point single-core score outing and a 3,071-point multi-core score. The new listing confirms the Pixel 7a is equipped with the Google Tensor G2 chipset alongside 8GB RAM. The phone also boots Android 13 to no one’s surprise.

Pixel 7a is expected to launch with a 6.1-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Google is expected to bring a 64MP main camera alongside a 13MP ultrawide lens while the front-facing module will also be 13MP. The 7a is expected to feature 18W wired charging and wireless charging.

Slowest charging in the market and mediocre battery life, not to mention overheating. If they improve those on Pixel 8 maybe I consider it.
