Samsung's new Galaxy FE devices, Tab A9 slates get discounts with Amazon’s Great Indian Festival
A couple of weeks ago Samsung was busy launching its new FE series of devices and now they are available through Amazon’s Great Indian Festival. The new Tab A9 slates that quietly launched a couple of days later are on offer as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 brings an upgraded main camera (50MP sensor) and last year’s flagship chipsets – an Exynos 2200 for the Indian market. The 6.4” display has FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the S23 and S23+. The phone is rated IP68 and has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired charging (no wireless, though).
This year the FE family includes TWS buds too, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. They bring back the wing tips from the original Buds and Buds+, which offer a more secure fit in your ears. Other than that, they have ANC like the Buds2, multi-point connectivity and 21-hour battery life (including the case).
However, if you have a bit money, you can pick up the Galaxy Buds2 Pro instead. These have more capable ANC and a 2-way speaker system (tweeter + woofer). Also, the FE don’t support 360 audio, unlike the Buds2 headphones (if that is something you care about).
There are now two sizes of FE slates – the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ sits at the original 12.4” (same as the Tab S7 FE), while the Galaxy Tab S9 goes smaller with a 10.9” display. Both are 90Hz IPS LCDs instead of AMOLEDs like on the main Tab S9 series and both are powered by the Exynos 1380. They are made out of aluminum and measure just 6.5mm thick and support 45W fast charging for their batteries (10,090mAh and 8,000mAh, respectively).
The original Galaxy Tab S7 FE is still around. It has a 12.4” 2,560 x 1,600px LCD, though with only 60Hz refresh rate. This one uses a Snapdragon chipset instead (a 778G for the Wi-Fi model). The body is also made out of aluminum and is even thinner at 6.3mm, but that doesn’t hurt the battery – it’s a 10,090mAh power cell with 45W charging same as on the Tab S9 FE. This one is cheaper, of course.
Then there are the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+. These are smaller, 8.7” and 11.0”, respectively. The A9+ has a 90Hz LCD (1,920 x 1,200px), while the A9 has a regular 60Hz LCD (1,340 x 800px). The A9 also gets the better chipset, a Snapdragon 695, compared to the Helio G99 of its sibling, and a bigger battery too (7,040mAh vs. 5,100mAh, both only support 15W charging).
On the other end of the scale are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra. These have premium 120Hz AMOLED displays (11.0” and 14.6”, respectively) and flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipsets. The batteries are a bit bigger (8,400mAh and 11,200mAh) and both support 45W charging.
Samsung recently unveiled the new T9 portable SSD, though the old T7 is still plenty fast – it promises transfer speeds of up to 1,050MB/s. It’s also rugged with an IP65 rating and drop resistance to keep your data safe. It is available in capacities between 1TB and 4TB.
For an internal drive, check out the Samsung 990 Pro, an NVMe SSD with PCIe x4 link. It comes in several capacities and you can have it with or without a heat sink (depending on the clearance of the device you want to install it in).
For cheap bulk storage, there’s the 2.5” drive, the Samsung 870 EVO. It’s pretty slow (because of SATA), but it is noticeably cheaper than the 990 Pro, especially in higher capacities.

U mean we need to buy s23fe at this cost. S21fe 2023 edtition and normal s21fe are there. Even a54,a34... All this are very low cost than this and this will cost cut in 4,5 months lol
