I think I can extend the battery usage by helping from Power save mode (Power save mode is available in phone profile). Secondly I like this phone because it supports my local language (writting and reading message). Thank you to Nokia very much for bringing this usefull 2 sim mobile phone.

Dual standby
Dual standby - When idle, ANY sim can ring (the can call you to any/either SIM). You only select the OUTGOING (calling) SIM. Dual standby means, that if you are talking to one sim (and for as long as you talk) the other SIM appears unreachable. You can fix that by enabling call forwarding when unreachable from one sim to the other.. (but you usually pay for the forwarding, unless you also disable call waiting to both sims and the other gets a busy tone)

in the previous firmware my 101 lasted 24-48 hrs on 'my' regular usage.. now, in 6.65 vn, i consume my battery 48-72 hrs regular usage. in addition, all bugs fixed, plus better reception.

turn your volume to lower or it could be the automatic loudspeaker on you just did not notice. anyways, upgrade to 6.65 version for convenience and better performance..

A wonderfull simple mobile phone. Just the basics, large keys, good readable screen and very comfortable. I have put a BL-5C battery from an old an damaged Nokia 6700 Classic in it. Now a more longer stand-by and call duration. I wonder why the BL-5c only is for the India/China/Bangladesh region end World-wide BL-5CB battry?
Does somebody know is it possible to store/load contacts to and from the micro SD card for back-up situations?

I just bought my nokia 101 2 days ago here in riyadh. after 3 hours of use, it restart once while i was composing an SMS. Also when i make calls it is automatic in loudspeaker mode.
What I did was I did reset to default factory setting. And since then I no longer experience those problems. Even if I compose a 600-character-SMS (equivalent to 4 standard SMS)& send to many, it doesn't restart anymore.
The only things I don't like is the voice leakage when making calls. The volume at the speaker is even louder than that of the earpiece. So I would rather put near to my ear the speaker instead of the earpiece. Another thing is that the battery drains quickly. At full charge it only last 12 hours with moderate use. Maybe because its dual sim??
By the way my phone is china made with firmware version 06.25 dated 25-08-2011.
