Yes sure, dual sim mobile phone are very usefull in asian country, everyone in my family has at least two phones each. so using dual sim phone is easier than two phones and i can save my expense also because some mobile phone companies provide unlimited call or sms.

Dual SIM has always been bad and alw... moreNo one need dual sim phone?? really? do you know what you're saying? dual sim phones are very useful if you have 2 sims - say 1 personal and 1 for work, also useful for travelers abroad, etc. etc. And in the philippines unlimited calls are allowed only within the same network. So how can 1 user make an unlicall if the one he's calling is on the other network?
Oh and by the way, not all users are in the philippines.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2011when you activate dual sim,one always losing signal not a v... moreand whats the problem? Dual SIM has always been bad and always will. To be realistic, no one need dual sim, its much cheaper to buy load (prepaid credits) that enables you to text for cheap to all networks, than to maintain load on two simcards.
In Philippines it now cost 25 peso for unlimited text to all networks if you have Smart/TnT, thats barely more than half a US dollar. Its like free, so why make ur life miserable wit a dual sim fone?

This is not the 101! My first cellone in 1993 was a Nokia 101, i still have the original box and receipt, i paid more than 1000 US dollars for it, its weight 330 grams. Google it.
Well it was not GSM, the system used was NMT900, a system that originated in scandinavia, and scandinavia is the cradle of modern cellfones, nokia in finland and sony ericsson in sweden and their early handheld GSM fones wer made in norway. The low cost countries were not advanced enough at the time to manufacture such hightech products, thats why it had to be done in hightech highcost countries like Norway and Finland, plus USA and Japan ofcors. Today a 330 gram cellfone dont seem hightech at all with their text onli displays and watever, its weird that its only 18 years ago this was too advanced for most countries in the world to even manufacture, not to mention impossible to engineer, even for south korea who is now becoming #1 in cellfones.

Highbros, 20 Oct 2011I just bought the red one and there is no such problem like... moreThat's what I though because my girlfriend and her sister got the red ones and encountered no problems. But I think it's not safe to assume that all red 101's are problem free.

i purchased the phone 2 days ago and so far no restart problems.. phone is good.. my only comment is that S30 is so basic, why?:
1. cannot create folder to save messages from inbox.. all messeges can only be viewed on the inbox or draft folder.
2. speaker volume is weak during voice calls even u turn the volume control to max (unless u use the loud speaker)
3. voice calls are unclear and difficult to understand (maybe because of very basic phone)
overall phone is good but i recommend that future buyer should consider the c2-00 or c2-03 because those are S40 nokia phones..

Here's another restart problem encountered.
The phone restarts by itself while in Silent mode. I used to encounter restarts while sending, composing, opening a message or unlocking the keypad but this one is happening by itself.
I really need to get this phone serviced.
