this phone has a lovely design. would love to have it. would be really cheap too. another extremely useful phone from Nokia. guess the Fly Fly guy has disappeared from this page to go and whine somewhere else about how there is still no phone that can play DVDs and then iron his clothes in the morning.

Sometimes (often lately) MMS is very useful, so , I do not see the reason for this kind of mobile fones.

i'm going to buy this nokia phone. it's all that i need, i wanna have it for my spare phone .. all i really need is mp3 ringtone, i don't want any other features for my spare number. you might need a rest from those full-tech mob.

Hey did anyone ever stop to think that somebody might buy this phone cos they are sick of all the bells and whistles. Not everyone who buys a simple phone is a poorbie. Jeez. I think all the Video and MP3 has gone to your heads. Grow up.

I bought this phone, just because I'm not interested in all those full colored bling-bling options, ringtones, games, wallpapers etc. not because I'm poor or what.
I'm a little conservative, a phone is to call people. This phone is just what I needed, and I'm happy with it.

good looking phone, all i don't at this phone is a monophonic composer, wich i think is going very good with the polyphonic tones and mp3. it's much cheaper and fun to have a monophonic composer.

i think this phone great!the manufacturer has just the sense of of balancing both sides of the world.maybe it is just intended for people who can't afford colored phones.but really,what is mp3 grade?

Come on!this set is just perfect for people who doesnt have a swimmingpool full of money!Thats why NOKIA made phones like these so everyone can use a cellphone!Poor OR rich!Sure the N series is great,but can the poor people buy them?Some people are just so negative...

The main reason why this fone is monochrome is that it saves more battery life over the color screen feature..

some of there reviews go on to show just how naive these kids who post their opinions here are. i have absolutely no doubt as to u people being kids. do all of u kids expect every single phone released nowadays to be megapixel camera phones with all those gadgematics designed to make the phone do everything except for what its supposed to do? i mean jeesus get a life kids. there are high end, mid range and low end phones get it ?? and instead of doing bits and pieces of everything you naive lil souls desire your mobile phones to do there are some ppl who simply want to use a phone for the basic yet fundamental purposes that they originally came into being for. and NOKIA does this job far better than any other mobile phone manufacturer with an extremely wide range of choices when it comes to their collection of basic phones as well as high end phones. needless to say the recent N series blows the beejeesus out of all other phones currently in the market. they are just simply too good to be even compared with any other. at the same time there are these basic phones. for the not so rich and plus the not so insatiable market of mobile phone useres. nokia is simply light years ahead of any other manufacturer in every regard and this very reason is suffice to prove my point. u want a comparison kids? take SE. for almost 5 months running now, since the very beginning of this year all that we've been seeing in their list here is that useless gimmicky walkman joke. not a single addition. forget that! is there any worthwhile choice of low end phones from SE? NOT A SINGLE ONE KIDS!!! i repeat NOT A SINGLE ONE. u can just forget the T290. that phone along with the T230 is the crappiest and most problematic phone that ever saw the light of the day. well that just about applies to all SE phones. anyway the point is u kids moaning here abt the monochrome displays and all the rest of that jazz, is just too darn pathetic! if its not what ur looking for just blow the juice out of this page, go to whatever other page u want to and do your bit for crying out loud!!!

monochrome display for such a pretty set. And I also saw...cough...cough...the 1600. 96x68 pixel for...cough...cough...TFT and 65K. What an injustice!! cough.....!!!!!!!
