light weight,nicely slim and good design. Not expensive so you dont care losing it in case of thugs esp Nairobi.

those people who want to buy for texting plz dont buy this one coz this phone have restart problem . other wise good one . coz all other brand mobiles have same prob when you use for unlimited texting except sony ericson . soo my openion is this is good one but not for texting

I purchased 1202 last week and found that the sound leakage issue quite annoying.
Today I saw in a calalogue at a local Nokia shop (Thailand) and also heard that 1203 would probably be released here in November.
I read some comments from people here but I'm not quite sure yet. Could someone tell me whether 1203 has the same sound leakage problem which 1202 has please ?

I have the silver-gray version of the 1202, the 1203. Like the 1202, the phone is slower than, say, the 1112, my previous set. And although it seems like Nokia has solved the vibrating problem, the vibration is now so weak! There are times when I've had the phone in my pocket and still could not feel it vibrate!

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2009whats different between 1202 and 1203? The keypad on the the 1203 is different from the phone on the 1202. The 1203, IMHO, has a better keypad... but the rest of the phone is the same as the 1202.

i bought this set a week ago and im more than satisfied, full marks to fast sms writing and the key pad is very soft ,doesnt feel you are pressing it with force.
The battery time is awesome and people complaining abtout vibration during a call ,then when you lower the call voume during the conversation the vibration becomes vanish.
the best part is its slim ,stylish and kooooooool set

I just purchased the silver-gray version of the phone yesterday(1203)- it is easily the most text friendly phone available today! The keypad on the 1203 is much better than the one on the 1202. Although the buttons are soft, they still provide for great touch-orientation which is remarkable because in most other phones there's always a compromise between the two. And as for the vibration that people talk about, I could not feel them when I was on a call. But yes, if you whack the phone against the palm of your hand you can feel it vibrate, but that's OK... I think I'll spend far more time texting or calling than trying to slap my hand silly :D
You can always trust Nokia to make a killer phone
