I buy this 1202 on Feb02,'09.it was broke on Mar11. Bring to Nokia Care Indonesia, it takes 1month reparation. Nokia says: there is a problem on the electricity management. So, Nokia change it into a new one (all machine) with the different IMEI. Thank you for Nokia Care Bimasakti Indonesia to do that. Shame on Nokia! 1month use - 1month reparation. The newest Nokia it's not the same with the old one, I mean in the quality product. Mostly now: "Made in China", where is the "Made in Finland" or "Made by Nokia"? This posting it's true, based on my self experience.

I liked the Nokia 1202 for its sleek looks. Its really a handy phone. The features are basic and suits those who use a mobile phone for only calls and sms. Overall rating - Good phone.

this fone in awesome trendy look and good batteryyyyyyyy back up but speaker sound is so high that volume can hear beside of everyone please change this thing

Simpler Solution to Sound Leakage:

Just put a small patch of scotch tape inside the battery cover to block the 10 tiny holes which let the sound out from back. thats it!

*ringtone loudness will be affected though.

to cancel out the sound coming from the back speaker of the phone, while talking hold your phone like you are supporting its back with your finger tips next to your tumb yep that is you are pointing with... pressed agains the speaker, then no sound will leak hhhhmm is that simple, i think that is the porpuse of that finger... just simple

Just the rigth time to own one of this bug here in the philippines, nothing more nothing less, just what i really need, easy texting and a good battttteryyyyyyyyyyy life for a good calllllllll. :)

It's a phone not a toy or mini computer!
Perfect for those who prefer to use their mobile as phone only. I recharge my battery only once a week!

It would be no use to include a camera or a colored display in this price range. The simple phone has a 1.3", 96 x 68 pixels large monochrome display, a flashlight, built-in handsfree, pre-installed MP3-like ringtones, pre-installed games (Snake, Cricket, Sudoko), a calendar, a phonebook for 200 contacts and internal memory for storing 60 SMS messages. The 105.3 x 45 x 12.1 mm large Nokia 1202, weighing 78 grams, is expected to come by the end of the year.

worst mobile nokia have ever made, it has a speaker on its backside so u have no privacy when ur talking covers r not changeable, its screen is so small. 1208 is a much better option.
