i just got this phone today becuase my 5310 broke, and i dont like it. its really annoying because theres no center button, the screen is pweeny...and bad sound

A good simple phone. It works well in the Kansas City, MO area with T-Mobile. I bought it to replace a Nokia "given" to my by T-Mobile when I signed up. The old Nokia was destroyed by one of our twin baby boys.
We completed our contract a year or more ago and are now month-to-month so I didn't want to extend my contract. All I had to do was put in my T-Mobile SIM and it worked. I did not have to change my plan or extend my contract.
You can buy one at Wal-Mart for $19.94 in the pre-paid phone area of the store. Not bad for less than $20.00.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2009A good reliable sturdy phone. I've had it for 4 months now.... morehi...dont worry on ur n1209 on sending messages, just make sure your sent items aint full...trust me, ur message will be sent everytime u want it to...peace

I would like to know when a new basic phone will be coming out in different colour. I would like to get this one but used someone elses and cant see the blue numbers with the black background. Hope you will be getting a light background with black numbers. You need to bring out a seniors friendly phone with big numbers black on silver, I know a few people in my circle hanging on to old phones usually 3315 waiting for a better colour to see properly. Thanks

Do u guys faces problem likes auto restart on tis phone NokiA 1208 ?? I got tis problem on my phone!!!! The phone itself restart even tho i didnt touch it ! SomeOne faces tis problems???

its the worst phone ever,, starts of good, then doesnt send message sometimes and it takes forever to recieve messages sometimes doesnt even recieve!! talk to a friend that had the same phone ,, same problem!!! dont buy it!! must be all faulty!

Hi,I love this fone 1208, i just bought it yesterday to replaced my 1200, actually i upgraded it to 1208, very nice fone for my other sim, simple but nice,,i love the different themes, great to change as you like!!! i love this fone,,mine is in red color..

nokia 1208 is truely useful n best phone for those who want easy accessibility with low cost. the phone is fantastic wth good battery perfomance n cool colours. i m in love wth this trendy low weight pocket cell phone which i too good to use in my college where multimedia phones n heavy loud music phones are nt allowed. yo nokia 1208. use it n be in peace.

in 2006 i bought nokia 1100 and this year february 14.2009
i v got nokia 1208
my previous experience with nokia had been good ,this set wil hopefuuly prove good.Thanks to Nokia for providing Cheap but durable handsets

Buttons too small, close together and recessed for people with disabilities. When are we going to get a phone that pwd, the elderly and blind/vision impaired are able to use?

Bought it coz waiting for n97 to be released. Great phone. Simple to use and cheap. Don't have any doubts tat nokia will remain as number 1 mobile phone manufacturer this year.

PROS:
-Excellent call quality
-Battery life
-Great same nokia menu
-Loud Ringer
-No junk camera
