this phone just works, it has a flashlight and it is quick unlike my my old Motorola rizr3. Downside is that the screen is small and takes time to get used to.

I don't need a phone to use the internet I just need one to call home or for help etc. I am 40 and not into text messaging all the time. I have this one in Bermuda when I visit and I like it so much I would love to have it here in Canada. I can get it out of my purse and I am not trying to hurry and flip it open to answer it before they hang up. It is nice and small and light and the buttons are easy to hit. Nothing fancy but up to date.

this nokia is a wicked phone :)
no fone can compare to this phone .. lol
it can take any drop or damage and still work
if you are looking for a affordable phone that will take any drops .. buy this NOKIA

I bought this piece a few weeks back.
wat da heck is this!
it can't store more than 75-80 sms's in inboX..n 20-25 in sent..thiS really suXX!!!
Everytym i've to delete previous sms's 4 da new 1'Z...
It says dat it has 32 poly tone..but when i heard destiny tone...then it luked 2 me aZ if it iZ nt even 16!!!distortioning prob!
man m nt impressed!NOKIA 1100 series iZ far more better !

Pretty Good Phone for picking it up at 7-11. No contract, just $100. The SIMS in these things work great with iPhones though! Still use it a TINY bit for backup (when I don't want to bring an iPhone)

hi there!! its about time to tell you and share about the evolution of moto w230 for a practical price of php 1990-2000 you can have these distinct features fm,mp3 player up to 2G memory wow thats a lot of fun and love for music dude!!! unusual stuff is you can record a clip from fm store to your memory card compare to nokia 1200/1208/1209 etc. for unreasonable price its quiet expensive then it is just a very basic fone for the price of php 1400-1900 hahahahhahaha i rather pick moto w230 moto rocks!!!!! try to compare the features and price you would believe it dude gudluck!!!

I have to admit I'm a Nokia fan. I've had many-month forays into other manufacturers, given them a fair try, and come back to Nokia.
This represents the evolution of Nokia handsets. If you want to do texts and make calls, it's a very sweet little phone, with more than a week of battery for my usage, it's light, small, works well.
Best of all, it cost me nothing, even on a prepaid plan.
Gripes: I can't work out how to get a smaller font (can't see much on the screen), and they *only* have musical ringtones. I just want it to "ring"! Getting a cable for $4 to try to put my own ringtone on it....

no came... moreHow come none of those features are present? Because it is intended to be a bare-bones model. It you only want to place and receive calls, this phone might be worth considering.
If you need other things like bluetooth headsets, photographs, or MP3s, then this phone isn't for you - you'll be wanting to look at a more expensive unit.
