i have recently had my 1208 unlocked and ever since then it switches itself off and restarts, sometimes in the middle of a call or just when about to send a text. i wonder is this a common fault has anyone else had this problem after unlocking?

ugly fone battery just 2 days i hate this fone nokia 1209 and 1208 same just body change nobody purchase this fone nokia 2626 better then all simple fones

When I first opened it at the store, the phone froze and I had to restart it again. Afterwards it was all good, had a lot of features. I good basic phone except I didn't like the colour screen and the screen was alos reasonably small.

i have this phone its good simple and easy to use.if you need basic use only buy this and cheap...even you use this in public they will get interest in this phone cause there is no camera.be wise.....and you buyers of course b4 we buy a phone we r going to search it 1st.specs so we will not get become ignorant....

I have this phone and i am very mad. man shop telling me phone good but when i get home there be no camera bluetooth and memory card. do not be buying. You should not buy this phone will only make phone calls texts and nothing else, what is the point in that? havin a phone that only make calls. Be warned Nokia!!!

I see some people have problems with volume control. I have the U.S. version and it works fine .... when your talking to anyone press the right direction and the volume will go up and is sufficient enough unless your deaf. The speaker phone is set to normal too so go to speaker phone then press the right direction pad and the volume is loud enough. If its not working...probably its the asian version. Im also going to test the alarm check my post after.

I bought this for $20 at the T-Mobile store...if you're like me and really only need a cell phone to talk and send the occasional text message, the value here can't be beat. Has a built-in speakerphone so you can talk while driving (if you have a mount for your dashboard). Also neat: has built in flashlight, and if you buy with the pre-paid plan comes with $10 of free minutes (t-mobile).

HELP!!
When I try to receive a call no sound comes out,there is just a red circle with a cross through it. What does that mean, it rang the first day I had it, now its silent with this rec cross symbol....how do I get it off?? Its not set to silent!!

bill, 31 Aug 2008phone sucks..have had two of them and bth have same problem... moreyes! i have the same problem with the alarm. i've been scouring the internet trying to find out why it does that...i set mine for 6:20AM, and most of the time it will go off then. but other nights, it will sound off at completely random times, but when i check it it's still set for 6:20?! anyone have any suggestions?

good as a spare phone but i would reccomend you to buy a better phone.
