excellent mobile . . .i hav been using since 2weeks . . .gud battery backup .. .dudes do not shy to buy nd use as it is a basic mob . . .in my view it is da best among all other basic mobiles . . .no issues till nw exept screen lite is sumwat low . . . no option fr more brightning scren light . . .dats da only thng i found . . .overall it is best fr who want fr call nd msg purpose nd text typng is so fast, gud keypad i love it. . .go fr it . . .

Perfect for text messaging and voice calls which is what a true mobile phone should do! I love it. I did away with my iPhone4 and got two of these. My life is simple now.

ive got a gray 1280...a must buy nokia phone for secondary use to ur main phone...its got a long bat life, simple to use and for curiosity's sake about this phone...its worth the 1thou php bucks!!!

its really worthy to have this cool phone when its come to texting.... i prefer to have this instead of having a touch sreen phone......... cheers to the nokia 1280 an i do like to acknowledge the quality nokia family as well!!!!!!!! bie!bie!

This Handset is shape wise good but its Battery is Much Week If it comes with 1020mAh battery then there is no Handset comparatively good then 1280.

im using this phone from 8 months... daily i send around 60-70 text sms & speak for around 1-1.5hrs. dropped it many times from great height & infact once a heavy wooden box fell on it... still this hardy didn show any weakness... as strong as day 1...
note: for people who complain about voice leakage which results in poor audio quality theier is one simple solution which makes to relieved. just keep finger on the back speaker while ur speaking in phone, u will notice that audio quality is being increased by 60-70% and most importantly other ppl cannot hear it.

Nokia 1280 is a simple phone. It's price is reasonable but it's quality is very good (unbelievable).

chivas, 03 Nov 2011guys this phone cn use in bahamas??I'm working as a sales representative in a company..and every time my customer ask for a cheap cellphone that is of good quality, durable, handy, user friendly or whatever....i always recommend them this Nokia 1280...not just because I'm using this myself but bec. some of my customer went back to me and said,"this phone is really great,and i like it more than of my damn touchscreen"

hamayun, 09 Sep 2011nokia 1280 has display problem, after some months lines app... moreSame problem (horizontal lines in the middle of the screen) appeared on my phone. My unit was never dropped or thrown. Is this covered by the warrant?
