I love this phone, I love this phone's keypad and it's a very cheap but an awesome phone! I didn't expect it to have any problem but just like other phones it did, first is that it restarts automatically and second I am not happy with it's battery, I expected it battery to be better but it loses more that 2 points after just 24 hours or even before of used a little more than usual!

Hi friends, No doubt it is having great features in such a low price. But it is having a basic problem that it restarts automatically.....twice or trice in a day.....Now 20 days ago, I just celebrated its 1st birthday & today it went dead....Now only god can save me with those nokia care centre people

all the new small mobiles in nokia are having some same problems
1)sometimes if you try to open contact strating letter 's' no matches found will appear solution is switch off and on it
2)all of sudden phone will be stucked and restarts
this phone especially having voice leakage problem but this is awesome for msg typing apart from voice leakege this one is fabulous

I bought this phone more than one year back. Overall a very durable/dependable phone; apart from voice leakage problem I have spotted one more issue with this phone, and would appreciate if some one can share if they have spotted the same problem:
- While searching for contacts, at times when I navigate to 'S' key, contacts starting with letter 's' are not shown. And at times they are displayed properly!!! Its quite hard to produce this every time, and appears to happen at random, at its own will!!
I also have N1616, which also exhibits the same problem...
Can any one guide what the heck is going on there?

Ishtiaque Khan, 25 Jul 2011Nokia should banned or remove Model-1280 from the market.Th... morethis is actually done by design to reduce cost. a simple remedy to this one is to block the rear speaker with your finger when taking the call to reduce or block once in for all the voice leakage.

hello friends I am going to buy this phone,though I am using nokia 1200 since last 2 years.can anybody please help me about the system of putting sim cards in the phone.actually is there any chances to damage of sim cards if I change sim cards frequently or the system is as like as nokia 1200.
