hei all,i'm having it just for 2 days,i've had the king 1100 and 1202 after,and now 1280,honestly i should admit that it rocks,really good and simple,i have the gray one,really stylish and simple,i'm really safisfied,ofcourse i should tell you guys that i don't like those giant high-price handsets,i just like these simple stylish ones

I agree with Forrest comments It makes/receives calls and you can send and recive texts what more do you want your phone to do? Basic Nokia phone but still great value and wont be upset if it gets damaged as its so cheap.

i have this phone for 4 months now. the blue one. just a back up phone. i love the keypad very good for texting. the only prob is really the voice leakage. i would love to get good tones for message alert tones and ring tones. any suggestions where to get it for free?

This handset is very simple and does its job very well. It is quite cheap as well. I replaced this cell by nokia 1100 which is the king of budget phones and I was highly doubt about liking my new phone over 1100 but now I am quite satisfied with NOKIA 1280 as it is very comfortable at texting and super quick as well. It has about 300 sms memory. This mobile is the best for those who often does texting.

This is my experience with this handheld.
This phose as same as nokia 1202, 1203, 1616, 1800, 1661, 1662.
The speaker is 3 in 1, when u talking with some1 people next 2 u can hear u'r conversation coz the sound also comes out from rear speaker.
No privacy...
