@Vicky
No use for Images because it doesn't have a file explorer, Photo viewer/Gallery
(No support for any JPEG or Other Picture file formats).
@Michellene
Increase the hearing volume. Mine was fair enough to hear voice on the line, when on the road. Try use earphone if you still can't hear voices or loud speaker it, if you like.
@jamescz
I think I would agree on you regarding on phone quality.
I visit nokia website I saw there Nokia 107 keypad was dust proof.
Meaning no dust can go inside the phone, that so helpful.
Mine was nokia 130 a different style on keypad, a plastic keypad. It has little tiny space on the keypad button. Dust can easy go through my phone by that tiny space. Nokia 107 and 130 they have a little bit diff. on specs, but on overall build quality I think you were right. Nokia 107 can last longer a year than my 130. I'm little bit disappointed, :( but it's fine though.

It's good phone 8/10. I buy this phone because I lost my backup phone (Samsung E1282t) and thought it's good than my E1282t. But now, I regret it.
Samsung e1282t, e2202 is good than this 130. It's cheap & basic phone too, but it have a fully packed features (gprs/edge, browser) on basic phones than 130. If you guys wanna buy a basic phone as backup or primary, check first if it's fully pack of all you need or wants.

AnonD-315342, 25 Oct 2014Just accept it. Nokia 107/108 still far better than Nokia 130.It depends what are your priorities for a phone. For me, the Nokia 130 is great. For you, the Nokia 107/108 is perfect.
Is there anything wrong in liking two different phones?
You seem to be hell bent on dismissing the Nokia 130.

"astrologer or a prophet?" are you okay misquitas? "You'll see the difference after a year, because a basic phone that has NO RAM can't perform well after a year/s." I say that because based on my experience, and what others experienced too. Try read the reviews on nokia site reviews, other site brands, or even here @gsm, you'll see what they exp. after using a BASIC Phone that has NO RAM, AFTER a year/s or USED. RAM and Good QUALITY is Important, what I mean in quality, is that can perform better or still good after a year of use. I don't think you have a basic phone that can last 2-4 years that's why your mad hahaha etc.
ow by the way, I saw all your comments. And based of what I see, is just like, your not busy on your life. Your acting like a admin here too, because your too active answering all comments of what others comments. Just accept the fact, that Nokia 107/108 far better than Nokia 130, that's all, don't be mad haha.

AnonD-315342, 25 Oct 2014As I said too, you'll see the difference after a year, beca... moreForget about owning a Nokia 130, have you even used a Nokia 130? The keys are NOT hard, as you claim and I find them just nice for my usage.
For my usage, the ability to charge via USB and the ability to transfer data to and from the Nokia 130 is a big plus. With this feature, the Nokia 130 doubles up as a convenient pen drive to me. Can the Nokia 107/108 do that with similar ease? I hope so.
Whether a phone can work just as smoothly/fluidly after a year will depend on various parameters, including the amount of contacts/SMS messages and other data stored in the phone. I dont expect my phone to lag after a year, simply because I will have the bare minimum data stored in my Nokia 130.
Whether or not the Nokia 107/108 rocks in comparison to my Nokia 130 is something that I cannot comment on, as I have not used a Nokia 107/108 to make the comparison.
Regards.

I speak for myself and NOT on behalf of others like you do. For me, the Nokia 130 is a perfect phone, better than a Nokia 107/108.
How can you assume that the Nokia 130 will NOT perform well after a year? Are you an astrologer or a prophet?
Phones are designed for a particular purpose and as long as the purpose is served within the defined parameters, the phone should/will work fine. Just because a Nokia 107/108 has some RAM, it does not necessarily imply that the phone will be lightning fast.
Regarding the performance of the phone, I can only get back to you after a year. But with a phone costing barely Rs 1750 ($30)), I would be happy if it does last me a year. By then, I would have got my money's worth.
Regards.

But how about others who need that? a person or people that need that, they need a basic/back up phone that still Have RAM (like 107/108). Anonymous, 24 Oct 2014I have reasons to believe this guy 'jamescz' is a troll...
... moreWell, I have stored 30 contacts so far and there is no lag whatsoever. The Nokia 130 is designed to accept 500 contacts, but I have no intention to exceed 50 contacts. As such, I dont expect any lag on my Nokia 130.
I have not typed long SMS messages as yet, but as I said earlier, I dont intend to have many SMS messages on my phone and hence, I dont expect much lag either.
When connecting to the USB cable to copy files to and from the Nokia 130, please note the following:
1. As soon as you connect the phone to the PC, you will get an option, "USB charging only" or "data storage". Use the "data storage" option and your phone is now visible on your PC.
At the same time, you will get a message on your phone which says that the phone is now connected to the PC. Do NOT press "DONE", else the phone will get disconnected from the PC. Press "DONE" only when you are finished with your work and you want to disconnect your phone from the PC.
Regards.
