This week I purchased a Nokia 1.3 because it seemed like a no-nonsense Android phone. The version of Android seems intrinsically linked to Google and every day I received prompts and error messages (including audible prompts overnight) about the set-up process. I estimate I spent an hour a day over the week trying to get the set-up working and to override the excessive automation. After a week of trying, I still cannot get simple things to work like downloading photos to my laptop. I'm bitterly disappointed with Nokia.

I have a Nokia 1.3 with the Microsoft Launcher. I think downloading too many apps or letting too many apps run in the background will cause the phone to slow down.

              It's rubbish. It's slow. Hard to answer. Back is almost impossible to get off. None of the photos I take with the phone appear in the gallery for more than a brief period and there's no indication of where or even if they still exist, although all the whatsapp stuff downloads and is taking up space there in all its glory.

                To whom ever wants to purchase a nokia 1.3, take my advice and RUN!!!! This phone is junk, and I am taking a hammer to it as soon as I can purchase another. I hate this phone, it keeps locking up and it is SLOW!!! Going back to my samsung, at least it works!!!!!!!!

Been searching Web for instructions as none supplied with it and thought it was faulty due to how slow it is. Had same issues with incoming calls and freezing as other reviews so will be asking for a refund . Thanks to your reviews I know it's the phone and not me!!

                    Worst phone I ever had since I started comparisons. Slow, lagging uuuuh. Worst of all was using maps while driving....cant count the number of times i missed my turn because it was that slow.

Android Go is a simplified version of the standard Android meant to run on a really low-end spec, so you don't treat this as a usual Android phone.

                          I bought a Nokia 1.3 phone believing that Nokia had a good name in mobile phones. Well they might have once, but the Nokia 1.3 is a shocker. It is incredibly slow, does not support widgets, has a terribly difficult process to remove the back and install the battery and SIM, unavoidably causing you to damage the case. I strongly advise you not to buy this phone.

                              hello does someone have a problem with google assistant (or go assistant on this phone). in my case the phone is trying to open the app but can't do it. it just kinda blinks really fast between home screen and white background that is probably supposed to be the google assistant app. and one more question, how long does it take to fully charge? mine has been charging already for like 1.5 hours and it went from 11% to only 60%. thanks.

                                First of all Nokia has created some AMAZING phones in previous years (E63 for example) before they started TRYING (very poorly) to get with recent times and create a smart phone.

                                I would not wish this phone on my worst enemy.
                                For starters Goodluck trying to even take the back cover off to insert your Sim card, by the time you have achieved that, the phone probably won't be returnable/refundable anymore even if it doesn't work because of the damage created just trying to remove the back cover.

                                Battery life, 3000x worse than an iPhone.
                                Signal, reception, internet service, ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!
                                Overall performance with basic use is appalling, your phone will ring for a good minute before the caller ID and opportunity to accept or decline the call even shows up on the screen.
                                Everyone has complained that they are unable to hear me clearly during phone calls, no matter where I am.
                                If you open more than one app at a time it will most likely close one or both of them. For example if I am listening to music and open messenger my music will stop playing because the phone can't keep up with anything you try to use it for.
                                Camera has no quality.
                                Everything is literally so delayed that you feel like you can almost hear the sound of the old school dial up internet that you would connect to your Home phone.
                                A lot of the time you will be typing something or just doing anything at all on any app or program and it will just close the whole thing on you consistently. As in it will freeze, close, take you back to the home screen, then when you re open it, the exact same thing will happen over and over most of the time even if you restart the entire phone it will literally make no difference at all.

                                I seriously could go on but I don't have the energy, I just sincerely hope this message saves at least one person from wasting their hard earned money.

                                This phone will surely test anyone's patience.
                                I would prefer a $30 phone from Coles with the old school keypad, I have no doubt it would work faster and more efficient than this sad sad excuse for a phone.
                                For the price, which isn't extremely expensive considering how much a smart phone costs nowdays, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!
                                Knowing how poorly this phone works, I personally don't think it's worth more than $60.
                                Nokia please stick to what you know best. This is a big let down from the great reputation you have made for yourself.

                                  So annoyed. Bought this phone based on GSM spec sheet. Stipulates aptx HD present, not true, aptx only. Now have to return it. Thanks GSM.

Frequent lags, freezing and system UI error makes this phone a bad choice.
