i like this phone but the main problem with this phone is whenever i go to ringing tones or message tone or any type of tones then the backlight goes off and comes back only when i put it untouched for 2 mins. does anyone has a solution to this please suggest me.

I think that this phone is ok.I have had some problems with it but there were solved with one command:Restore factory settings.I don't like this command because it delete the ringtones that i have composed and alos the pictures.All in all I like it.I'm lovin'it! What should I do to not access this command?

i had nokia 6150.6510.6310.and now 2300
it has nice fm receiver and 250 name`s catalogue
for average user is ok
no java {who wants to pay for play ?)
no 3g (also too expensive)
and no camera ( i had my bro`s phone
sharp gx20 and i took only 20photos /month
so if u dont use it why u must have it ?)

What can I say now? but it is evident from the opinions i have gone through that this set is seriousely damaging the reputation of nokia, which should be dealt with some proper feedback. I propose that all such problems should be solved immediately with some advertisement in the media to call people having this set, and resurrecting the position of company at large

great phone for all normal user besides the main objective using phone is to communicate...moreover are just rubbish

i brought this model in the m,onth of december but now it is giving the problem , whenever i tries to insert a sim, after insertion also it gives the message as "Insert Sim Card"

using this phone more than a year & a half had been a great experience. however, i am plannig to change within a month but dont want to sell it off rather goin to keep it with me all the time. a bit low on memory part but if in 1 word its "FANTABOLOUS"

I bought this Phone 2 months earlier, and have no problems.What ever software errors were there were rectified now with new phones.Good for a guy who listens FM and decent calls.

i just have this nokia 2300 last october 2004 but i have this problem since the month of febraury.my phone hangs and stop responding.after a while, it reboots.it happens usually when im texting, change the settings, gamings but luckily not during calling.cellphone technicians told me that, the software program of my cellphone must be reformated because my problem is about the programs. i did agree of doing such because ever since, my cellphone was not been opened.im afraid of future damage.plz response immediately.thank you

I have got a problem in the Ringing tone it only vibrates when I reciev calls and when I try to change the tone no preview.
Please suggest me or any quick remedy.
Please PLease, It a problem with in a month after I have bought.

I hope u will b fine. I am facing problem with my mobile phone. When I receieve the phone call in urdu language my mobile hangs up. And it does not work. Please solve this problem or give me some help or suggestion.

phone hangs, restart, blank screen, bad software...these are the horror stories ive been listening from other guys..and they ain't lying. Im lucky my prepaid scratch card reloads in seventh attempt from this phone.

Fine set, i have nokia 2300, but there is on urdu language, however in my friend 's nokia 2300 has urdu language option.why,how can i get this one.2nd can this set be available in color display.
