Pls suggest me a way to back up the data like MESSAGES & CONTACTS on a computer its urgent.

I am using Nokia 2310 but the problem is anytime i have a message ,the phone stores only the number but not the name of the sender.

I am using nokia 2310. i am feeling much better that why its radio is very good valume.i am so happy to have a good mobile set like Nokia 2310.

Nokia 2310 Model is good,but the message storage memory is pretty low,due to that i often delete my message,when there is no space.

I just wanted to say this is a brilliant basic phone..the battery lasts for jus ova a week and very user friendly
however the alarm also kinda gave me a problem twice or so but its back to normal now
also its a very storng phone..I have dropped mine countless times from varying heights and it stil wrks jus fine,:-)

I accidently put this phone through my dishwasher at least 3 times, dried it out, works fine, i had the alarm clock issue, it occasionally stops working for a time, but removing battery usually works, batter can last at least a week, simple, great phone, only need to text / phone, rest is novelity

seems like a good phone, not many features, 7-8 days battery ife, but after few weeks of using the wake up alarm clock doesn't make a sound.

The latest version of this phone still has the software bug regarding the Sent Items where some messages remain in "pending" status even when they were in fact already sent. Once your Sent Items folder becomes filled with these "pending" items, you have no choice but to MANUALLY delete them one by one or you wouldn't be able to send any more text messages--a bug which has been around for over a year since firmware version 5.00 of the Nokia 1600 and was ported to the newer 1xxx series including this model. In spite of all the customer complaints, Nokia never fixed it.

this phone is incredible it has served me well for about a year now, my friends look at the basic uncomplicated nature of this phone adn mock me but I always have the last laugh as their n95's, se k850's and lg viewty's get sent back about 5 times a year for repair or replacement while mine soldiers one. I do not want a camera as I have a digital one, mp3 player? i don't think so my bus journeys are spent philosophising about my boring monotenous life and if i get bored i can always wack on radio 4 and the genius of terry wogan! It even lasts about 4 days without charge....I would recommend this phone to everyone who has destroyed their credit rating and lives a life of abject poverty like me....thank jesus, god and nokia for this technological masterpiece! peace out!
