This phone is very simple possible. The FM is mono. Don´t have GPRS for change the pictures on display. The battery life is very poor in comparision with others nokias that using this battery BL-5C (1100, 2300, 1600, etc). The keypad isn´t good for SMS. I don´t recomend this phone. The 1600 is more best for: SMS, battery life, but don´t have FM. Bye!

it is ok if you just want a phone to make and accept calls. user friendly too. not for someone who loves to download games, ringtones etc

Battery time is not longer on standby, Display is small compared to Motorola W209 Some tell me how to control the volume of FM coz in my phone automatically volume get low. battery backup is very poor compared to nokia brandname. SMS storage is also low compared to Motorola W209. Motorola W209 is Cheap for ppl who just need a cell for calling purpose compared to Nokia 2310.

It is excellent value for $50AUS. I recently got one one of these phones, and it is great. Let's look at "limited features" of this "primitive phone".
I already own a digital camera. No need for one on my phone and phone cameras are crap. MP3s and video? Yeah, well, I have an iPod. Games. Who the f*** plays games on a phone anyway? The only crippling thing is lack of connectivity, my Nintendo DS has more.
You may say "but a phone can have all in one". I'd rather have separate devices that do each thing splendidly, than a single device containing watered down options.

i was a nokia user who went on to buy a se k750i. i really like these se phones though the navigation is a bit different thatn in nokias for eg the "c" key which in nokia means cancel in se it means delete have deleted a lot many contacts when i went over from using nokia to se .but now i have changed my job and camera phones as well as phones with gprs and data storing capacity are a strict no no .i deal with a lot of sensitive data which deals with i cant tell you dat.this type of phone can only carried by us .se doesnt have any in its price range that can offer the same battery life or ruggedness as this phone.so its was back to nokia .and i dont like samsung phones they are made by idiots for the idiots.transfer single entry from sim to phone now thats stupidity.nokia stands for what it speaks "connecting people".
