This phone's a very good one,Good looking,Small Size,Excellent battery life, The bottom line this phone's an excellent Basic phone i have sold my Siemens S65 cuz of reception issues to get this phone It does worth it.

Excellent handset better than N95 videocalling is fabualous 2GB internal
memmory with card slot but no fm 5MP
camera bluetooth but where to store msgs

This model got less memory for Reminders (in Calender). If that was there, then it is excellent phone for cheaper price

as compare to haier z2000 nokia sound is not good and also rate is cheaper than nokia

it's small lite has all that you need and its cheep ;) radio handsfreee etc make's it a good phone the batery last longer

how can you tell when the battery is low on the Nokia 1600 and when it needs charging? i cant tell by looking at the battery symbol on the display screen it always looks the same to me. can some one please answer my question.

guys u cannot upload mp3 tones into this phone. the mp3 ringtones are built-in only. if u are so much into personalizing ringtones get the nokia 2610 instead.

BEST phone ive ever owned!!! yes its basic,but,it has bril alarm clock and can have phone switched off and alarm will still come on!!! if you need a phone just as a phone and a GOOD phone at that then this phone is KING!!!!

i am not at all bothered by the small screen. this phone is designed to last a long time for the basic user and having a bigger and quality screen would slow it down and drain the battery sooner. besides, the menu is well-drawn with nice contrast so it compensates for the low quality of a CSTN display. i only wish they included an option for even smaller fonts so as to allow at least 4 lines of text.

i am sooo into basic phones now! i have this phone and a nokia 1600 which has almost the same specs. except that nokia 2310 has FM radio, calendar, animated wallpapers, better looking screen (actually same LCD as nokia 1600 but probably better drawn menu), faster response time. disavantages compared to nokia 1600 include no speaking clock, slightly bigger and heavier, keypad is relatively harder to press (but u can get used to it in time). oh and i also miss soccer league and snake xenzia!

i have this phone with latest firmware version 3.31. i observed that when using "Send to many" function in SMS, and sending text to at least 3 contacts simultaneously, some of them remain PENDING in the Sent Items folder even when they are in fact already SENT. my nokia 1600 with latest firmware version 5.53 has the same problem. the older firmware versions do not have this bug. i hope they fix this in future firmware versions and offer free upgrade.
