I jst bought this phone cause my n-gage QD got stolen. Basic phone, basic functions. The silver plastic lining the screen gives it a classy look.

its spreadsheet function is really useful for keeping the account information up-to-date. no security thou :-(

i do use it more daily for talking, recording the account and texting! well, daily functional with no more cost! (compared with the 3G phone that cost you)

i think that that phone is the most coolest fone ever and they should make some more cooler phones like that but a camera phone that would be really tight??

It depends on shops/countries. I am not sure but it should be between 25 pounds and 55 pounds.

It is really important to remember that it is only for calling or texting (not mms), with other important features like spreadsheet and no. screening. Also it has good mono speaker, compared with Nokia 6030.

For setting the time: go to menu > setting > time setting > clock > time format > choose: 12-hour. Then it should display the time in am/pm.

Loudspeaker works well, you just have to practice before you decide to use it and not when driving.

Stable and seems to be shock proof. It has been dropped a few times and no problems.

The battery last for 2 or 3 days before needing recharge.

Ringtones can be invented on the phone if you don't like the 30+ ringtones provided.

Adjustable ringtones to callers so you can allocate certain people a "no ring" or silent ring if you want. There are speed dials and number screening.

Only thing that is not great >>can be difficult reading the screen when outside in strong sunlight. No other complaints.

The best feature of this phone is the ability to block unwanted callers and their text messages so that the phone doesn't ring when x (or your 'ex' as the case may be) calls or sends an sms (unless they use a private number). Loudspeaker and alarms are great features too. For a cheap phone it is very much worth the money.

I bought this phone a month back...Its quite
an economical phone and due to which obviously limited in options(Camera,MMS etc)
But inspite that,it is quite a wholesome set...alarms,calender,reminder,speaker phone, phonebook mem, downloadble tones, preset themes, converter(not just currency like every other set but length, weight, size ,temp etc and 5 other customizables too) etc..pretty much more than what a standard phone should have at this price...

For everyday business, it's really dependable phone. Please do not expect mms, camera, gprs, wap on this phone, it is not designed for those purposes. I could say that it may be color version of Nokia 3210/3310/3330 with more basic benefits.

Anyone may have problem with the pre-downloaded themes/ringtones, it is understandable because the themes/ringtones of Nokia 2600 depend on the countries. So, I suggest to go to Nokia Service Centre to get different ones or buy in any preferable shops.

More or less, Nokia 2600's simply useful.

I bought this phone yesterday. It is a basic phone for simple communication like call & SMS.Anyway, I don't like complicated functions,so this phone suit me fine. The only problem is the selection of loudspeaker,it is not user friendly.

It actually does have a speakerphone, it's not in the instructions or the US website but I found info on Nokia's European site.
                                        http://www.nokia.co.uk/support/tutorials/2600/english/xsim_using_contacts_during_a_call.html

During a call, press the clear key. Select options, scroll to "Loudspeaker", press "select".

You can only choose it during a call. It would make more sense if you could start a cll with it on.
