i bought the white one for NZD$160, i was just looking for a cheap low end phone and this one looked nice, after using it i was extrememly impressed by the OS and i love the pearl white with gloss black. fabulous phone to text on. only downside is the vga camera, but thats why i buy digital cameras :)

second when u oepn any int... moreThe pages will be saved somewhere, but you can access them in Opera Browser itself !
There's an option "Saved Pages" You can just check it out there without going to "File Manager"

I bought a Graphite Model of this phone and believe me
KEYPAD IS NOT HARD !!!!!!! It's Smooth and doesn't produce any sound while pressing..
Just go for it !!!!!!

By taking 2690 i m feeling very happy....only i want that in this phone is that there should be a mp4 player inbuilt.....and sound clearity should me more without using earphone.....at last i want 2 say that i headphone quality is very good i have never heard such a beautiful voice in any of the nokia phone...and i would like to prefer everyone if he/she is taking first time phone then he/she should take nokia 2690 believe me it is a very good set...and take it in white colour in low cost it will increase your status....Dn't take other phne as we all no nokia is a long life phone....

dud battry backup is very poor.
second when u oepn any internate file in opera mini and you wull save and move file to your own location in memory card. than u will no read this file. becouse the file extantion will be .obml. and .obml file is nor read by nokia 2690.
