NEGI, 02 Jun 2010can nokia 3110c data cable used?No, you can't use 3110c data cable to connect this phone. 3110c has miniUSB port whereas 2690 has microUSB.

I was looking for a basic phone for my mom that supports MP3 player and memory expansion and ended up getting this. I must say I am impressed pressed with this device. Its the quintessential Nokia; good build, good feature and even sports a candy bar shape. The welcome updates to the previous generation "low end models with a little extra" include: Upgraded Series 40 OS, Memory expansion (none of the previous low ends had this), microUSB, good speaker (mono) & Bluetooth and of course it has the ubiquitous FM radio. I must add that the keys are very comfortable to press. If there's a complaint then its the VGA camera, its quite basic and the screen size. Got one for RM 280 plus Rm 20 for a 2GB mcroSD card.

Its a nice reply from Nokia to new brands . very good one in that price range. a very good phone in low cost.

I have purchased nokia 2690 and founds its camera quality is bad comparing my old 6070(vga).Picture is hazy whenever I am looking it in computer.Bluetooth can't send large files.I have tried with nokia E62,7210 supernova and many more,but any one can send me files via bluetooth.no problem.can any one help me out?

[deleted post]it is advisable to use N2690 coz u can put up to 8G MC compare to nokia 2730 maximum capacity is 2G only..
