This is better in some points compared to the Nokia 2. Especially the CPU/GPU and stereo speakers. I think the battery life will be worse because the battery size is the same 4100mAh but with a bigger 5.5 display. The ppi is also lower because the new one has the same resolution but a bigger display.

Hey today I bought this mobile...all I can say it is a decent mobile with good battery backup.screen is LCD and camera quality is as per the price.for internet usage we can see a reasonable quality..worth a buy..there is no heating issue...

Both h... moreNokia 2.1 is part of Android Go program. Hence hardware wise it will be on lower side. Prime goal of Go version is to prove that even at meagre hardware (1 gb ram only), Android is capable to run the show.
5A is budget offering from Xiaomi with same SoC as Nokia 2.1 (i.e SD 425) ,but with 2gb RAM. It runs MIUI. Updates are by Xiaomi.
Only difference is, Android Go is a start up venture by Android. No idea about how will it go in future as far as updates are concerned. On other hand 5A and MIUI are regular offerings , tried and tested. Need not worry about updates and support.
Hope this will help you take an appropriate decision.
