guys! need ur help and opinions.. i bought my 3110c already with 6.02 version, is it fine to upgrade my memory card to 1 gig?
will it be fine for the fone or it will just experience some sort of problems? reply asap! tnx.

Follow up question: this phone has an EDGE right? does it mean i can automatically achieve 3x speed than a gprs connection? or do i have to apply some settings or contact my network provider?

im planning to use 3110 as a modem. do you think my internet connection will be faster than a dial up modem even if this is only a 2G phone?
answer:
if you have a gprs connection probably same as dial up (up to 56 kbps) but if you have an edge connection that is about 3x gprs speed.

download settings from your network provider or you can visit the nokia website and they can send you the settings for free.

i totally disagree of nady's comment about this fon,it's a matter of handling what makes ur fone last longer..i am satisfied of my 3110c nokia fon.....for the record..

It's all about a music phone, i love the user inter face.... most entotable... Can't use for coktil ( ngocok itil ) because of it has no good baterai power...

Hi everyone
Enjoying a lot with the newly bought 1GB SANDISK mem card.No restarting problems yet.
Just one problem.The enhancement is not being detected.A blue rectangular icon is appearing instead of the headphone icon.I'm not able to play RADIO.

I don't agree with you so far my understanding suggest about the Nokia 3110 c just excellent and meet my all demands but you have to sure about downloading some site contains viruses which may produce some fatal problems however above all it's good .

umm my phone says subscribe to packet data whne i go to yahoo go! or opera mini... i think it has something to do with enabling the applications.... please help me...

The solution for the restarting problem of this phone is this:
1) Update this phone to the nearest nokia care center version 6.02
2) Don't put many songs on your phone,50 songs is enough to run it smoothly
3) Don,t set the moving pictures in a wallpaper menu
So if you are tired & sick on this you can just sell it to your friends or cell swap it okay!

No it doesn't. It is just quite slow in the video clips folder and it happens when you already have loads of videos. I'm using a 1gb SanDisk right now and never experienced hang problem.

Hey guys, recently i have experienced an extremely slooooooww memory card access. In my case, it was the "MUSIC" folder inside my memory card. It is because, i have loved to use the m4a music file format converted through the Nokia Music Manager. Well, as we all know that as soon as you copy the songs to the phone using the Nokia Music Manager, the song will be filtered/grouped in folders by artist inside the music folder leaving the music file situated inside with yet another subfolder inside an artist's folder name right? Just imagine that whenever i open the memory card files(including images and videos), i have to wait 40 seconds to one minute. Well how do you guys find it? Frustrating right? Very slow. So what i did is i extracted each and every music file inside the subfolders hoping that it would be back to normal. And it really did!
So my advice to everyone that is using the Nokia Music Manager, i suggest that you must transfer the music file directly inside the "MUSIC" folder instead of residing it inside a subfolder. Because it will for sure make the memory card reading slow. Maybe you will come to realize this when you have more than 200 songs no matter how many music artists you have. Imagine how long it did take me to transfer each music file. Because i used to have 273 songs and it is resided inside a subfolder. And each process takes about 40 to 60 seconds. But great thing my patience bear fruit! :)

if you insert 1gig memory card, does it hang? if it does, wat should i do? how will i update d version?and how will u know the version of 3110c which needed to be updated??? pls email me..

i bought this phone for rs5040 but the cameras performance is really bad,most importantly during night mode.......................dont take this fone.......
