go to any nokia care centre and get its software updated to ver06.02

Actually my brother bought a 3110 classic almost a year ago. Now since January, it has started to hang whenever the 1 gb microSd card is inserted. The phone's software has not been updated. I am going to get that phone from him and i definitely want that memory card to work. Will the software update solve the problem. if not what should i do? I have not installed any applications. Also how do I format the memory card using the phone when it is not starting when the card is inserted.

Hello!
I have a problem with the phone. It restarts from time to time when I access the memory card either I take a photo, either it is in Data Storage mode.
Does anybody have a solution for this?

3110 c is nice cell phone but it's very slow the data transfer.

my themes are only black.nth, marble.nth and zodiac.nth. i dont have the default blue nokia theme.

Its the default blue theme of nokia. my 3110c doesnt have it. i only have black.nth, marble.nth and zodiac.nth. I dont have nokia.nth.

Ei, try to check organize your files, check all the music files, be sure its not on the MP4 format, and if doesn't work go to nokia care center to have a firmware update. : )

I have 6.02 firmware, it working normal with 2 gb micro sd, 97 songs in micro sd, 20 mb of images and standard folder from samsung j200. Nice phone with big keypad.

i mean good cell phone for the price. best in speaker sound quality. can use usb cable of canon cameras or other mp3 players. very slow in data transfer when using infrared. will nokia still give the updated 6.02 version in their website?

good camera for the price. number of contacts depends on available phone memory. not so good on earphones, screen has low resolution distorting high quality pics of the 1.3mp built in camera. no way i can save messages in the micro SD unlike my ex-S60. no problem with the 6.01 version so far even after i loaded it with 400+mb songs, themes, games & other applications (incl Bible btw).

go to web,then to settings and then appearance settings and make it yes on the SHOW IMAGES option

To all users of this phone i have just fitted a BL6C battery, very slight sanding down of the raised plastic end was required, but the back cover fits.ONE EXTRA DAY'S use was achieved
Well worth the modification and only a slight increase in weight.
