Hello guys, i have good news for those people hu owns a nokia 3110c with restarting problem? i have a solution to that it is very simple. here: 1.turn off your 3110c remove the battery and memory card, then just live it for abt 6 minutes. 2.after 6 minutes turn on again ur 3110c without the memory card. see? ur phone never restart, 3.when ur phone is on restore factory settings, and put a theme that you like and permanently use it. then live again 6 minutes. 4.after 6 minutes turn it off and put again the memory card. you will see no more restarting problem. i can assure you that. bye!

hi peeps...i have a 3310c ver. 5.5 with a 512mmc....it restarted once when i sent 32 pictures via bluetooth all in 1 sending. the wrong thing i did is i waited for all the files to come in before opening them..what i did the next time, i opened the 1st file as soon as i received it...that way the files go directly to the "received files folder" rather than the "message folder"

      im hope this helps.... :-)

            @ Luqi:

Yes i agree that screen resolution is not that bad. It got 256K Active TFT Display but when viewing downloaded 3gp videos, it's the point where the 128x160 pixels display resolution is noticeable.. Still the best phone for its price range til date.

it's realy a cool phone, portable and nice. the only thing a i'm a bit uncomfortable about is the sound quality. mine isn't very loud,i don't know if the problem is with my phone or that's how it is. all things bieng equal, i love nokia 3110 classic. thumbs up, keep it up! i'm out.

To All the users of 3110C

Pls. update the firmware to the latest 6.01. It can only be done in Nokia Customers services. It's not available in the net. When u've done updating i believe 3110c will be a much loved phone. i myself faced the restarting prob numerously. While using a big theme, copyying large amount of data to phone to card, while playing large bitrate mp3's and so on. it was a living nightmere. now, all the prob is gone. just update asap.

and don't forget to backup everything in your phone including contacts using nokia pc suite. every bit data will be lost after updating.

update and be saved from this maniac prob

Color. as in screen res is not bad (TFT 256 - 18 bits) - just a little pixilated for some people. As for the camera colors... it all depends on the lighting condition when shooting and will look better in a PC monitor.

i just bought this phone a while ago and im very disappointed bout the camera, i had a 3230 and the pic quality of the 3230 is better than this one. too d*mb of me not to try the cam at the store and only relied on the reviews here. i wasted my 4800 pesos for this phone. THE lesson take time check the phone first before buying it. can you 3110 user try to help me love this phone? can you help me on the cam settings?

guys this phone looks cool and al that cra* but wat it boils down to is the phone is totally unstable with the mmc and not at all recommended
for those who expected relief in the new firmware v6 it still has problem regarding the update music library and restarts a hell lot like a piece of crap. . . . . using aac or mp3 or mp4 only increases the problem better go 4 3500c but if u still wnna go then dont use mmc the phone wont be reliable if mmc used hence PLZ DONT BUY

I'm quite satisfied with this phone (no restart problems) apart that the rubber strip on the left side of the phone is slightly bulged. Autonomy is good for measured use (1 time a week) and acceptable for intensive use (2 times a week). Unfortunately, in standby the screen is black (time is not displayed)

Just be sure that your warranty is still valid. Nokia Care warned me that if ever my phone shows evidence of mishandling (like making the handset wet), they have to charge me 560 pesos. But good thing I wasn't charged.
