I don't think any one of these is totally better than the other, in my honest opinion I think 3110c has a slight advantage over 3500.

I was about to have this unit repaired beacuse I have experienced the RESTART problem... On use for only around 2 weeks. I'm using only 256 MMC...
Why does that happen?
There is NO AVAILABLE firmware later than V05.50.
I loved this phone but if i removed the memory card, what's the point of having this fone? you know, music, vids, and those stuff...
anotehr problem also, NEVER turn on the security level at the phone seeting, you know, keying in the security code before you could use the fone...
i never changed the default security code of this fone (12345), but when i turned it on after continousuly turning on/off then later finally off, it asks for the security code, i keyed in the deafult, and its says CODE ERROR...
I got so depressed with that, huh...
But later after actually slapping the back of the fone because of anger ( i was about to bang it destroyed haha, i turned it on, keyed in the sec code for the last time, and it freaking worked again...
Now I'm using it without the memory card...
very sad...
please somebody help me to fix this prob permanently, hehe...

No antivirus softwares yet compatible for Java-based phones but don't worry, viruses only eats memory but would not directly affect the phone since mobile viruses are in .sis format and S40 phones can't open sis files. Only Smartphones can..

Hi guys now only i buy 3110 mobile its look very sexy and tell me onething any antivirus software can able to load in this set and tell how to delete that yahoogo its pretty slow

Thanks for the response!. I just went 6 hours ago at Nokia Care and they said that v.06.01 is available.. And my observations based on what i am seeing right now:
1. Sound loudness is the same with v.05.50.
2. An additional Nokia light blue theme is added.
3. PTT (Push to Talk) option has been removed from the menu leaving only 10 (including SIM/Network Portal of Services) icons instead of 11 icons on the previous firmwares.
4. There are two new messaging options added: The Postcard Messaging and the Flash Message.
5. Yahoo! Go has been removed from the "Media" and "Messaging" menu but still present on "Applications" menu under Collections folder.. I can't comment anything on the performance yet.

I'm not an expert but... i have to tell you that Firmware v.6.01 is only available at Nokia care center as of the moment.

First, it's easy to recognize and differentiate a wallpaper from a theme. You must first determine the file format of the object. If it is a wallpaper, it's file format would be GIF, JPEG or JPG and BMP and will have a file extension of .gif, .jpeg or .jpg and .bmp (example: smile.gif). If it is a theme, it's file format would be NTH and will have a file extension of .nth (example: zodiac.nth).. Check if the one that you have downloaded from Nokia's wapsite is really a theme or a wallpaper.. And about Zedge, just click the theme that you want to download and then it will direct you to the next page that contains a "download" bar. Click it and then, you will be directed to the next page that states your remaining credits for downloads and the "Click here to download" bar will appear and once you click it an option will appear whether you want to download to your PC and transfer to your phone or send to your mobile phone directly via SMS. Actually, it got 3 options but i just couldn't remember the last option. I chose the option to download to PC because it's convenient unlike through SMS that you will still need to do few more procedures to have the download so i recommend the download to PC option. Hope this helped you. :)

Enjoying with 3110C.Nowadays no restarting while updating the MUSIC LIBRARY.But restarting very often while using GPRS.

To all of u people out there, please don't buy nokia cellphones with a pop-port connector like nokia 6233. It is better 2 buy cellphones with a 2.5mm or a 3.5mm AV and a USB port cauze USB cables for pop-port connectors are extremely expensive which cost around RM50 compared 2 de ordinary USB cables which cost around RM5(correct me if i'm wrong). Another thing is that headphones with a pop-port connector will unpulg from the phone very easily compared 2 de ordinary 2.5mm or 3.5mm headphones. If u agree with me, go 4 these nokia cellphones:

Hei, i hav registered to zedge.but couldnt download any theme.how can i download?does really any downloaded theme works here?i downloaded a theme frm nokia's wap site.but it only worked as a wallpaper.plz help me.

Hi all,
I noticed some problems w/ my 3110c, I was listening to the alert tones using the external speakers, volumes are all set to high and they are just fine, but when i decided to make the tone as my message alert tone and i received a text message, i can barely hear the sound... pls help on this... thanks!!!
