yes, it support 3g sim card but it cannot support 3g video streaming support basically nokia 3110c is not a 3g phone. however, there are operators that uses edge for video and audio streaming. edge (2.75 g) is technically a 3g service however 3g is faster.

i bought mine at nokia but it has no extra memory card.
my question is that how can i use my IMS. it is actually activated, i saw some who is online,i send them msg but i received no reply. they can see me online but they dont receive my msg. I too am not receiving any msg from them even if we are both online. how is that pls let me know. its not working.

Ive had no restart problems with this phone, I purchased it from pacific mall in scarborough, ont canada. it may be asian spec as it has some symbols on the number buttons.

I bought this phone for $170canadian because it was a simple, not bad looking phone as well its one of the simple nokias that has bluetooth which is mainly all i need in a phone. It is a great phone 6 of the main buttons are customizable from, bluetooth menu, auto keylock, music player. etc... the phone is a simple no BS phone, its a reasonable price compared to some of the 200-400 phones. from stock all the phone needs is a micro sd which i had lying around from a ds and then a usb cable the ones that are used for most appliances such as cameras and your set. music player is easy looking, response time is very good as well, it does not take long to load applications etc as my old sony took sometimes 4 sec to respond after pressing the call button. the music player has also the option to play music through my bluetooth headset instead of wired headphones and batterylife is superb. If you are not a picky phone person and dont want to spend alot of money definitely pick this phone up, its great value and it is reliable. The only downside is the camera quality but i really dont care as i dont use it and i have a proper camera for photo taking.

I m very angry.I bought it in 08-11-07 & already repaird 2 times.same case found in my bro's & frnd's sets.it restarts.risky set.but good speed.think b4 buying...

hi, i m using this phone . apart from restarting problem with mem card there is another problem. This phone is not getting detected by any pc when connected through a data cable. can anyone suggest me how to resolve this ?????

my nokia is very clasic.when me bore,then my nokia help me.and i spend more time with my mobile.its pictur and vedio is fentastic.once agin i say thanks nokia to make Nokia 3110. thnks

This phone supports mp4. Just make sure the video resolution is at 176x144 pixels. Or else, it won't play.

Hey, you are at W200i forum right?.. Well, this phone doesn't have a free micro SD Card when you buy it. But don't worry, micro sd is much more cheaper than the SE phone's memory stick.. And about the volume, the 3110c is not that loud.

I think so. I haven't tried my phone memory went lower than 2 MB and store majority of the files on the memory card.

hiii all can any one suggest me a good nokia phone for GPRS / i need to connect it to my PC for about 10 hours in a day. I also need loud enough ringtone, so that i dont trequire it carrying between the two rooms.

im using nokia 3310c with firmware v 05.01 and using sandisk micro sd 1gb. i have experience this phone keep restart. what i do is remove music files and no more music files mp3 (or maybe can just put a little songs).. the phone will be ok.. so i wondering this phone cant have too many songs? or cant support 1gb memory? anyone knows?

I've been using this phone for over a month now. I've experienced most of its glitches and somehow learned how to resolve these issues.
My 3110c is currently loaded with a 2GB MicroSD card, and it works fine, except for a very short lag when accessing the mem card.
I've also experienced the restart problem of the phone. And I've learned that a corrupt or an incompatible file can casue this. At startup, the phone tries to read the contents of the mem card. Once it encounters an invalid file, it restarts the handset. I've recovered from this issue by formatting my mem card and installing its programs and uploading my files one-by-one. And I was able to isolate the file that has been affecting my phones restart behavior. An incompatible theme and a high bitrate mp3 file was the culprits.
I hope this helps. I've learned how to resolve this problem by browsing thru this forum. It really helped me a lot. Try to dig in further guys. Thanks.

Hi! to all,guys & gals plz revert.this 3110c h/s has gvn 1 of d bad exp. 2 me,I m using this H/s frm 6 mnths,I had gvn nokia care 3 times,still these technicians r unable to solve prob.,whenever puts mem card gets switch off & switch on,now stil prob. is not resolved,plz suggest me.what I should do????
