Got v 5.50. it's ok but not that much different. hope it's more stable. No hang ups.

James. . For the software thingy, n70me is running on symbian os,it runs the old sis files . . .you'll get lotsa softwares but you won't be much satisfied . . I guess

Hey james, well the phone is pretty good,durability is gr8,but the battery life totally sucks,and it takes years to charge the battery,apart from that i don't see any flaws in this phone wit the price tag it got, and for n70me i would rather say,go for 5700, 5700 got a stunning qvga display 16M color,and it pretty much out performs n70me in almost every aspects,and n70me i would say its the economy edition phones from n series,if your really willing to buy a n series phone just wait for n82 to come *drools* i love that phone

As i m looking for a phone with great battery backup n some features that 3110 c is having...
apart from this i wanted to know how is N70 Music Edition anyways(battery back up and software related issues)...thanks

Bought 3110c about 5 months ago. I have been very satisfied with this fone. It has everything a person would require in their everyday life and more. Mine has v 4.91 installed and I am ready for an upgrade since v5.50 seems to be really good by the comments I've read. I have a 512 MB Sandisk and no problems whatsoever.

Hey madz,sorry to say,your m2 card won't work wit nokia 3110 classic,m2 cards are better thou and faster as well,but your nokia 3110 needs a micro sd card,even thou the cards looks similar but they are not same,so you'll need to buy a micro sd card,. . . And hey for all those prob regarding restarts while updating music library,try this out,i am not sure if it will work or not,but lets just give it a try,from pc just check out all the songs that are in your memory card,check if theres few songs wil extra long titles or not,or even other tags such as artist name,album name,genre,sort out the songs wit big titles or a long artist or albums name,then just make it short or you can also remove them,try it wit nokia music manager or windows media player,not sure if it wil work,cause my phone never restarts even thou i have only 4mb free memory out from 1gb, sandisk card,so anyways hope it works, thank ya'll

hello!....i have a memory card here for my n3110c its a "sony M2 64mb memory card", a friend give this to me, can anybody tell me if this will work for my N3110c unit?...tnx

Hey nik,wats up dude, well listen the nokia 3110c actually DOES support 2gb card,just have to buy a quality card,but i prefer a 1gb,umm and for all the software you demanding. . There are actually some java mp3 players by which you can make your own playlist and even browse folders and select tracks,its kinda handy cause the built in music player is kinda :s umm,its hard to find the songs,and for a free dictionary try www.getjar.com i found one free dictionary there,but actually i also have a premium one which i got from www.dotsis.com but this site is banned now:( aww,oxford dict,but the thing is this phone has a .jar file limit of 1mb,so you cant really have a application bigger than that,so the dictionary thing is quiet useless cause the words are limited,and for mobyexplorer,well mobyexplorer v.3 is valid for 15days of trail,but you'll get a cracked version if you search in google,that one you can use for unlimited time,but i have the original mobyexplorer v2.1 thou,i can giv you the registration code l8r,if ya want to use v2.1,and for the video converting software. . Try to download Imtoo 3gp video convertor,i forgot the link,but search for it,i wil tell you the codecs l8r,cause thats the big secret ;) wink wink,lol . . And for more utility stuffs . . Try jzipman its like having winzip on your phone, for yahoo or msn or aol or google messengers, try Morange,or mig33,theres tons of java utility softwares available . .have to specify wat you really want,i'll try n help,thanks

Guys JUst don't think anymore abt updating ur firmware JUST do it... I repeat; It doen't affect the warranty whatsoever! and believe me guys u ppl wont be dissappointed!! its the best firmware for nokia 3110 classic! for all those ppl who r having problems in updating i'm here buddies! :D keep smiling and keep enjoying life as much as u can and make sure u have ur 3110 safe in ur hands! ;)

Buddy i ws just quite busy messing around...
well.. to tell u ppl v5.50 ROCKS!!! and it has dramatically changed the whole expressive style has changed ... NOW wid v5.50 we get:
1. quite Louder Sound!
2. Better quality Sound (check Stereo Widening)
3. Fatest speed u can get out of a Cellphone!
4. Better in fastforwarding videos ! no more
hangs!! :)
5. Faster Music Library update
ANd the Biggest Advantage
6. NO MORE HANGS AND RESTARTS... I have been damn trying and begging my cellphone to restart unexpectedly but it just wouldn't !!!!
NOw i am really proud of owning a Nokia 3110 Classic .. Gud Work Nokia boys!

Hey all,for those of you whose saying the phone is restarting while updating the music library,well even thou my one doesn't have this prob, i guess there is something which might be wrong, well 1st of all check all the tracks that you have on your memory card,try checking all the list of tracks using nokia music manager,sort out the tracks that has got long titles or even long titles of artists name or albums name or genre,modify those things and make those titles short,just check it out if it works or not. .it might help,ok if you don't have nokia music manager try with windows media player,make those extra long titles short. . And as far as the memory card thing that guys are saying,i am using a 1gb card and i have 4mb free memory!! N it never restarts,but its always a wise idea to have some free storage, hope it wil help,thanks

i updated my software n i think it is way beter dan da previous one.i updated my phone two days ago n frm den it didnt even restart once n much faster.
