Ok guys, here you go. After much delay and survey, i have bought my first nokia set 3110c a week ago.
It costs Indian RS 7000/- in Kolkata.
It has all the features one needs from a mobile(except 3G) which i am not sure when the operators would introduce it in Indian market.
So it has got all the features one can use at present.The sound quality is better than N70(as it gives the correct tone but volume lower than N70).The picture quality is not very good, but it is fine considering price.and yes it has full screen view while taking picture, unlike N70.One strange bug is the volume of ring tone, upto level 4 it is almost non hear-able. but at level 5 it is loud, so only option is level 5. It has EDGE and HSCSD also for fast internet connection. I tested the Bluetooth and Infrared data communication, and the transfer rate is good.
it has mini USB port so anyone can get cheap data cables from market rather than from nokia.
The design is so sleek and symmetrical, i just love that. keypads are easy to use and so is the navigation key.
Now the main thing few notice in mobiles, its the battery, it has 1200mAh battery, that is huge power considering other 750mAh batteries.
in 3 days my battery is 1/3 rd empty, and i talk for 15 minutes a day on avg and listen a lot of FM. but yes if you use bluetooth, the charge will come down very fast.
Also it has 2gb micro SD card support, so no problem with 9 mb internal memory.
so it is the best nokia has ever produced as far as cost is concerned.

what can i say bout this phone.. the sound and image quality is just plain decent, the back cover is plastic-made and it seem like its gonna break everytime you try to open it but the fact that it wont hang at all and you will never find another phone where technically it had all the function except 3g and wifi with unbelievable low price!!guess nokia trying to be generous huh?? and ya another thing...it cum with a 1gb memory card

just wanna know the videO recoRDINg limit of this phone and if it doesny heat up and hang unnecessary like its predecessor 6230 nd any other cons of dis baby..

Hi,
Does anyone know if this phone will display a full screen image (Photo ID) on an incoming call? I think the latest software for the S40 version 3 should do this. Thanks.

I realized that the 1.3 MP camera images was not as good compared to my previous 6230i! FYI, 6230i is also a 1.3 MP camera but the pictures is very much sharper and better contrast. While this 3110 C is like a improved version of an VGA camera images! Why was it like this? Anyone out there can explain?
If anyone wish to get this phone, pls. don't, it sucks! You as well fork out RM200 more to get the 6300 which offers better camera resolutions and the screen is more beautiful.
Functionality, is is almost the same!

Dear All,
In the darkness mobile camera is dirty due to flash is not there. if i need to make my camera very clear so what to do.plz. mail me as soon as possible.if it possible can i fix the flash in my mobile camera write this also.

hey
ive never owned a nokia before. i was looking through the videos of a few nokias on gsm arena and i was so shocked to see how.. unprofessional and basically teenagerish the displays are. I mean to write a text message and stuff like that.
please tell me you can change the style of display to something more professinal.

hey i was just watching the video on this site and i saw the text message screen.. like where you type in the text message, and its all blue and uh kinda immature. is this usual for nokia phones?
im used to LG's and they have black text on white background when you type your message....

A great phone packed With lots of great Features in the most Affordable price..!
Here in pakistan it is for R.s:10100
in international market it is for 168.3$
I think in this price 3110-classic will Do remarkable business in every kind of market!

SOMEBODY PLZZZZZZZZ HELP ME
ysterday i bought this mobile.everything is very good abt this phone but the only problem i am facing is "even i talk for 5 minutes my phone is getting heated"
it is really unbearable for me becoz i use phone for atleast 5 hrs a day.so somebody plzzzzzzzz help me HOW TO STOP MY PHONE GETTING HEATED,anybody else facing this problem.plzzzz reply

Recently just bought phone and waiting for my MicroSD 2gb in the mail.
Phone overall is stunning! Phone is light, buttons for text msg'ing is a plus, battery life is pretty good, sound is decent, ringer tones are nice. Just overall features are really nice.
I went from a Sony Ericsson to this and so far really like it. Oh yeah Sudoko game kick ass ;)
I would recommend phone and possibly getting it unlocked as I was doing searching and could not find others that unlock this phone. Luckily my phone is unlocked and works smooth :)

This phone has many good specs,but clearly it comes with a very poor earphone(which looks cheap too).
So, can anyone tell me about quality earphones for this set??

this fon have all, like 6233 and 6300, so why not buy :)
and better batery !
