I have this phone for almost a year. I'm happy with it. With a 4gig memory card, the phone takes video at max resolution of 288x352 for a maximum time of 4 hours 59 minutes per video. Pictures are at 1600x1200 for the max resolution. Hope that helps. Oh, and i haven't managed to break the back cover when opening and closing. You just have to be gentle.

nokiaberry, 09 Sep 2009Slyde, no worries good choice! maybe you have other nokia's... more6233 is one of the best mobile phone made by nokia. It's just unfortunate for me to have that but I have a nokia 6151 for more than a year now then i gave it to my favorite niece, Meg-Ryanne, John Carlou's sister, a 3rd grade who lost her phone to a snatcher here in the philippines. think i'm goin to buy Nokia 6120 classic. 6120c has more features than nokia 3120 classic. thanks man!

heh sorry to confuse you, the 6120 Classic and 6121 Classic is the exact same phone (there is a minor difference but I dont remember what it is, search the 6120 thread)

Slyde, no worries good choice! maybe you have other nokia's available to you, over here in NZ, is limited choice, like my 6233 that can't be purchased here, I brought it second-hand (3 years ago). another cool thing about 6121c is you can adjust the brightness of the screen. read the full review on gsmarena for more info.

Ashman, the card was jam-tight in the slot that I was scratching the surface of the paint off the memorycard (from slipping). seriously, thats why I used the pin to get it out, by nudging it on the side, then getting grip on my fingernail to slide it out. what you mean you don't need to remove it? the idea being is you copy stuff from your computer and use it on your phone. pics/clips/tunes etc

Comment about 3120c (don't remember who commented ... it was on the net)
"3120 is not a Symbian ... nor a Java ... It is something else and serves most of the purpose"
I thought this was a great compliment to the phone. While I have managed to open PDF files and even text files, it does not support a proper Acrobat or an Office software. It is a great phone that does so much more than what it costs.
I just wish... the internal buffer - cache memory was bigger for opening bigger applications and files. and the build quality of the phone housing was stronger. Rest is far more than bargained for... enjoy!

It is true that the memory card is hidden inside the cover towards the side and a bit cumbersome to take out. But I take that as an advantage as it is not easily accessible and also protects the phone and the mem card from unnecessary dust, damage and chances of loosing the card.
How many times do you have to take a card out anyway? I have never had to take mine out yet. So no problem for me.

hey many thanks for replying. I decided to exchange the phone for the Nokia 6120. I really did want to keep the 3120 but after a couple quirks, I just couldn't bare to keep it longer. Removing the memstick was a hassle, had to use a pin to yank the thing out. Back cover is too flimsy, would snap eventually. Menu's and fonts too big (even at small size).

aside from those things, the phone has a cool interface, really similar to the nokia 6233. Which is still the best phone to this day. (If you not looking for symbian/extra features ofcourse)

anyways I recommend the skin "ninja star" by t2_dennis, google it. anyone know how to extract/save the image from an s40 theme?..
