The display quality & display size is exactly the same as compared to 6630.
For a dual mono speaker, its consider good. But the drawback is that it isn't loud enough.
The signal wise is good.
Recorded movies depends on how you record it, it doesn't matter much with the phone, to save memory, a inferior quality can be inserted - but if memory isn't an issue, the quality of the movie could be relatively sharp.
wi: you don't do upgrade, you can try getting a 3rd party software.

For the people who have this phone i want to ask some things !
1) i heard that the refresh of this phone is bad.. is it true ? ( is the display worse then at 6630?)
2)how the mp3 sounds? i dont care if is mono, is good quality, medium or bad?
3)the sighnal is good ?
4)the recorded movies are worse then 6630 ?

I simply say this fone is da best i know.. 1.3mp, symbian system and stereo radio, all that i want.

this is a good phone and all...but still i managed 2 find some problems on mine.nr 1 the display has a dead pixel in it...witch is enoying and nokia refuses 2 fix it :((. nr 2 the software has a few bugs or so i think....because it resets all by itself...and nr 3 is that 90% of the games that u find on the web do not work on it...or if they do they apear only in a small screen.

2kb on clendar 85kb on contcts 144kb on dcumnts nd 40 kb on mssages.... nd why does it reach a 5760kb??.. does anyone also hve a

try to format your phone just enter *#7780# in your phone. It wont delete any files. If it doesn't work try *#7370# this will delete all files on your phone(not MMC) and restore to original condition. goodluck! :)

hi guys ,whats this everybody is saying mono plyer,mono player,is it the only thing u guys search for,see other advantages of this phone ,it has every thing in it, actually it should be name all in one phone. so plzz stop talking about mono and buy this phone ,and let me clear u one more thing that peoples who r writing disadv af this phone they dont even have this phone .so bye guys take care assalaam alae kum.

i purchase nokia 3230 this is a good mobile i am telling you everything about this
1. moblies battery life is good atleast 2
days for normal use avoid access menus
frequently it consumes more battery
2. u can downlad netfront for .pdf, mobile
office for word, excel, powerpoint.
3. true tone format is .amr .wave picture
quality is also good
overall excellent mobile download ultramp3 for stereo sound excellent with handsfree

To Smanthrala: Send the fone to a phone service centre and tell them u want to flash the fone firmware to da latest one.. If there is no greater firmware, ask them to degrade the firmware to a lower one that they have.
To chard: Symbian os can do almost anything as windows.. Therefore try searching for symbian wav player at google search engine or upgrade the software at a fone service shop for a wav player.

Hi,
When i switch-on my 3230, it is giving an error saying 'App Closed, StartUp'. and then onwards, none of the functions are working except making and receiving calls. I'm facing this prob from 2 days. Earlier it was working fine from 3 months.
One observation is if I switch-on and switch-off multiple times, i was starting properly once in 10 times.
Can anyone tell me if anybody faced similar problem? Is it a prob in instrument or something can be done to fix this?
