hi all,
i hv a very silly ques, pls help me to improve my knwledge... wht's FIRMWARE and how can i knw wht's the latest ver ???

i've read my manual.
let me make it clearer.
i KNOW HOW TO ADD recipients.
what i was saying was how to put contact numbers IN THE BODY OF THE SMS, I WASN'T REFERRING to the 'TO' field.
in the previous models there are options "insert number" & "insert contact" therefore i can put phone number in the body of the sms (NOT in 'TO' field)
but i can't find those options in 3230.
i hope you understand what i meant.

wad is the maximum memory card support this phone can?
izzit true that the phone only has mono output for mp3?

i don't know why some people are so evil because this phone is excelent.besides i have a cd with lots of programs downloaded from diferent web sites that makes your phone even better.if some one wants this cd with all the programs contaxct me at adi_haidu@yahoo.com.have a nice day

I'm *stumped* *shocked*.....have you read your manual?
When you click your joystick to the left, it brings you to the write-message screen yes? The cursor's in the 'To' box yes? SooOOOoOoo...key in the number there. If you want to add more than ONE contact, remember...you're the SENDER and those reading your smses are whom?? they are known as RECIPIENTS...so..what do you do? You 'ADD RECIPIENT'! Then u click click click alll those u wanna mass-send to, and u click on 'OK', which will bring you back to the main screen.

does anyone know how to insert contact/phone number when you want to sms?
all i can find in the insert selection are "picture & template."

it happened to me once.
i just turn off the phone for a few minutes, then turn on it again.

It helps a lot if you learn to read the review "Nokia 3230 takes in an option for graphic themes changing. The theme wraps up the whole phone including the icons and the menus into a different design. When delivered the phone is equipped with four pre-installed graphic themes."
And also, to surf by the Nokia 3230 website at http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,65363,00.html and look under "Key Features", you'd read 'Customizable colour themes'.

The mp3 sound quality has been discussed before, I urge you to read the opinions to have a feel of what's going on, this is not a place for question and answer. Its to discuss.
And issues that has been discussed shouldn't be repeated again cause the same answers will be replied and its very exasperating.
Sound quality on 6230 is better.

Hey people it plays mp3 files much louder and in stereo with mp3player with equalizer

You need not let your F-Secure run forever at the background for it slows down the phone and takes up battery life.
Periodic scanning would suffice.

it cant run much at same time its very feeble for a smartphone.i can now see why its important to have a large capacity memory on the phone it self,,they often say in mags that the on board memory is stingy and that was the xda11 which is big 128mb .ive taken some apps off to free up space and it still said full so checked wats running holding down menu key to find f-secure+telephone running and thats it,,swiched off then on again and it cleared the problem??you cant turn off f- secure so that is running all the time,tell me if im wrong tho.

By the way: 6630- no radio. So...
