hey if u restart your phone with that code does it delete everything off of there? like the pix and messages, etc ??

i've been using this phone for 5 months.its dissapointing because it takes too long to send a message.i noticed that this problem happens to nokia n71 and n80 as well.so i guess..phones that use symbian 9 will have this problem.maybe it has something 2 do with the OS...

I have been reading all the reviews posted and have got good solutions to tbe problems I face with my 3250. The main problem being the hanging of the phone while messaging. I reset the phone by using the *#7370# command as suggested and my messaging was working fine. Two weeks late the hanging problem occours again. Moreover, I was not able to open up the pictures shot on the phone stored under galleries once I reset the phone. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Your welcome Omair,I'm sorry for misunderstanding :)
It looks that you can delay to change your 3230 (am I right?); If I'm right than this my thinking:
You have 2Mpx and music with 6270,so the ideally pair is really smartphone without camera (you can look at Nokia E60/E61 or SE M600) but once again the problem is the price. But if I'm right that you can delay to change your 3230,than you can wait until their price drop to your range.
But if you want to change right now,I advise you to buy K750i. At least you get more complete camera ability than your 3230 and 6270 and you can also have experience with the music quality from other than Nokia.I'm sure the price from K750i is cheaper and the music not too far away than W800/810 (especially if you hear it via headset).The complaint about K750i is joystick,but I think that's not a big problem.
That's all my personal opinion,because for me it's not worthed to have 2 handset with similar ability in the same merck.
The decision belongs to you :)
Hope you can get the handset that can satisfy your need.

i dont have (ULEAD VIDEO TOOLBOX 2 PLUS nokia edition) in the cd included with 3250!!
how can i get it from the internet?
i looked in ulead site and i found that there is only trial version!! is that version included in the CD also a trial version? if anybody have got a way to get a full version from the internet then plz help me!!

What is your need that you will change from 6270?
The difference feature from SE W810 and 3250 :
W810 has 850 GSM, complete ability camera (autofocus, flash, panoramic etc), infra red (3250 has not) and candy bar model.
While 3250 has symbian (because a smartphone) (W810 isn't smartphone like 6270) and PTT.
Other features are similar.
But the difference between 6270 and 3250 are only smartphone and the model exactly.You loose stereospeaker and flash if you change to 3250. So for me,it's not worthed if you change from 6270 to 3250.
My personal advice,if you really want to try smartphone than better you go to N73 (because you also upgrade your camera ability besides the smartphone ability).
Or you can try SE W810i if you want to have experience how SE phone do with music and camera ability.
Just my opinion.

N70 is better than 3250 in 3 things only!!
1) better cam (although its 2mp like 3250)and N70 has got flash!!
2) it has 3G, and 3250 has no 3G
3) the internal memory in N70 is 35mb i guess, while 3250 is 10mb only
3250 is better than N70 in :
1) louder sound, both r 64 channels
2) faster than N70, and i mean REALLY faster in opening applications, u can try office suit or quickoffice on N70 and in 3250 and u will see the difference!! 3250 is much faster!!
3) for me, 3250 looks better than N70 in design..
4) 3250 can be connected to standard 3.5 jack for headphones..
5) 3250 is cheaper

please do help me.what should i do, my 3250 always hang around, when im sending sms it will took 5mins to send it. Gosh, i dont know what to do, ive told this to nokia center they told me that they will upgrade it but i have to leave my phone for a week. Is there any possible solution for this matter?

Viperkid .I guess i have to sell it and get a 6280 .I mean this is crap.i have to format my phone every 4 5 days.i mean this is crazy.I cant even enjoy sending messages.The video i make its useless.im gonna sue nokia.

Viperkid we should sell this phone coz its giving us alott of problems.i mean with the video and sms.I dont know you told me if this phone upgrades to V3.28 that would do something with the camera rite? I feel like suing nokia by god.I mean i paid 20000 pakistani Rupees to enjoy this phone.damn its a junk.i was better off with the 6630.As the top part came off where you put ur e
ars that was the reason.I would discourage buying this junk man.Although its good in looks but very pathetic in using it.Damn

I hope, you can share your personally comments after you use the music phone from Nokia and SE. Don't forget to say which type of phone that you use and also the firmware. thakns.

The taste for listening to music is individually;I think the best is you try to listen directly by yourself how this 3250 and SE W800/810 play the same music.If you have friends that use them than you can listen by yourself.
My opinion is software cannot replace hardware.So you cannot replace the autofocus and macromode and panoramic etc with photoeditor.That's the same that SE W800/810 cannot replace smartphone.
Another choice is SE K750i.It has balance quality over camera and music.
But of course if you really need smartphone you may choose Nokia.But if you don't need/use smartphone,nonsmartphone has faster response than smartphone.
One thing also important for me personally,the battery life, because I don't like if I must charge my phone everyday.
Please share us, if you have your new phone.

If you want Nokia,for music,the best from them is sure N91 (via headset).But the price is also more expensive.
Or you can choose N73 (if you want smartphone also) or 6233 if you want non smartphone.

hey viperkid...
i went to my nearest nokia care centre(mumbai,india) and i told them that i wanted to upgrade my firmware...but they told me to tell whas the problem in my current firmware(3.18)...i told them that i have service command problem....the person there told me that updating the firmware doesnt solve d problem and that the engineers will see how 2 rectify it.....afterwards i told them that i also wanted 2 update my firmware...and he told me that whenever a cell phone comes at nokia care as a rule they will update it wid latest firmware...he told me 2 collect my 3250 after 10 days....while leaving from there i saw that those engineers had fully opened and disembled my 3250!!!..i want to know that is any nokia care centre very effective in terms of service???will they ruin my fone???...my cell is under warranty

ok, if dat's wat u want. do this press *#7370# wyl on standby screen and enter 12345 (default) when asked. it will reformat ur phone's memory and b back as d first time u got it! u can format ur microSD as well if u want, but as u also know it will delete all data so backup impt data. u may get default apps/games on d support pages of nokia 3250 at http://europe.nokia.com

re firmware update by ourselves, as of now 3250 is not listed in there so its not wise to install ROM from other models such as 6630, N91 etc since they have different system files... so i guess u and i and every1 hav to w8 for nokia to include 3250 in d said list

u probably been tricked by ur provider/dealer, coz u must call and test from d point wer u got ur 3250 b4 u actually buying it. i think they gave u a faulty unit. i got mine for over 5 months now and never did i experience any problems whatsoever! best thing, ask for a replacement.

VIPERKID PLS DO HELP ME....
i recently bought this new nokia 3250 cell...i bot it on 20/8/06...just 15 dys have gone...m having problems with my cell....when i get a call n i receive it,i can hear the persons voice but the person cant hear hear my voice.....it feels like vacuum being created..can anyone tell me y this happens n is nebody facing same kinda problem???pls do help as m really pissed offf.......
