HELP. please i need help.
I was palying some game on my phone and suddenly the game shuted off and phone displayed "disk error - cannot co..."i tried to start game again but the same title apperd. then i tried to delete it, but still nothing changed. also when i try to capture foto the phone shoots it but dont saves, it says "disk error - cannot co..." then i made the fone to save pictures in phone's memory and everyting was good. so the problem is with my memory card only. i tried to format it but fone says "no memory card inserted". My firmaver is 3.21 so i dont know what to do. Viperkid or someone else please help.

did d sound improve? oh yeah, i remember dat too b4 my 3250 gets a bit hot in dat part but now when i charge my 3250 it does not get hot anymore, so i guess 1 more week to go for the BP-6M battery to normalize..

Bought Nokia 3250 two days back. The features looks amazing, but not better than Nokia 7710 (which I had previously). The headset provided with the phone does not provide good sound quality for MP3s. Also, there's a problem that the charger and the back of the phone (where battery is present) gets heated up while charging Any body has an idea about it?

I'd highly recommend the 3250, as it has all the features that the 3230 has, and most of
these features are way much better than the 3230.
The only feature that the 3250 does NOT have(as compared to the 3230) is an infrared port.
The other MAJOR features of the 3250 include:
1) 2 M.P.camera(3230 has 1.3 M.P.).Both cameras do NOT have a flash.
2)An Excellent stereo loudspeaker(3230 has a mono speaker)
3)The 3250 is a Symbian 9.1 OS(Series 60 3rd edition) (3230 is a series 60 1st or 2nd edition OS,i'm not sure, but the 3250's OS is more advanced)
4)262,000 colour display(3230 has 65,000 colours)
5)The clarity of the 3250's camera is much much better than the 3230's camera.
6)Also the 3250 comes with a 512 MB microSD card, which would cost around Rs.2500-3000 if bought separately (if bought in India) ( The 3230 comes with a 32MB card or 64MB, i'm not too sure, but definitely not more than that)
I must also tell you that the 3230 is known to have 'distorted' features.Meaning to say that most of its features, including the camera, have bad quality.You can test this for yourself - just try zooming on an object in any friend's 3230, and see the clarity(NOT sharp at all). Also, many series 60 applications DONT work on the 3230. Those same series 60 applications will not work on the 3250 either, as it is a series 60 3rd edition OS, BUT WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR, THERE ARE GONNA BE HUNDREDS OF SOFTWARES AND GAMES COMPATIBLE WITH THE 3250.
The final decision is your's...

Hi there
I got my 3250 about 2mths back and I got to say tat I LOVE IT! 1 problem tho, when I 1st got it, the built seemed solid and it impressed me. But after 2mths, the side of the phone as well as some of the plastic parts that covers the screen seems to be coming loose. Anybody has an explaination? Or do email me...

u hav to visit ur nearest authorized service center or nokia care outlet so they can update d firmware (software) of ur 3250 to 3.21 or to d latest one, 3.28! take note, u must back up both ur files from internal mem and microSD bcoz firmware update will reformat ur phone and delete all ur files.. its FREE as long as u bought ur phone in an authorized store or d box of ur phone has a sticker of "comes with a 12 month limited warranty". on second thought, u may NOT want to backup ur microSD coz if u restore it after ur firmware update, all the themes u installed in will return and myt b uninstallable bcoz some of d hidden files will b back too, hence myt coz u a problem, so juz b sure all ur contents from ur microSD be backed up EXCEPT the themes dat u don't want b4 having ur firmware updated..

viperkid i have firmware v3.18 and even the themes i've installed from symbian.mobilethemes dont show up in the app. manager... where can i get version of firmware u r using ... any specific link???

i suggest dat u only install themes with 176 x 208 resolution or with a tag of 176 x 208 from mobile9.com for 100% compatibility so u can uninstall it easily. even they say its compatible with 3250.

i haven't tried themes from mobile9.com, and as wat i can remember some themes for 3250 in there are originally for N80, as u can see under d tag it says "352 x 416" resolution dat's N80s resolution so if u've downloaded some of those, 3250 may not b able to detect that theme and display it on the app mgr dat's y u can't uninstall it.

i've installed themes from symbian.mobilethemes and i can always uninstall themes dat i do not like.. ooh, i forgot i never tried themes from those 2 sources when my firmware was 3.18, as u can see my 3250's firmware is now 3.21, so i guess it has something to do with it.. i have to install and try to uninstall themes from mobile9.com with my new firmware so i'll know if i can remove it.. BRB!

i haven't tried w550 so i can't compare em.. to give u an idea, personally, bass quality on 3250's inbox HS-20 earphones are good enough for me, i'll rate it about 7.5 out of 10 which, obviously "10" has better and louder bass quality. well, dat's my personal opinion..

u tried it on wat mode, "data transfer" or "PC suite"? juz b sure to copy it to this directory of ur microSD:

is dat wat ur talkin "digital sounds" about? nweys copying tracks in dat directory will surely not give u any error unless ur data cable has a defect, also try not to move ur phone wyl in process.. re receiving files from ur friend, b sure to select ur microSD as ur storage for messages, juz go to msging > options > settings > other > memory in use

i really need help so plz sumone rite bk,wen ever i go to copy tracks to my fne from th cable, i think its full, it says 'error in copying, parameter is incorrect' does tht mean its full? and wen evr i try to recieve things off my friends fone it says my memory is full wen iv only got about 20 songs or less stored in my digital sounds???? im confused sumone plz give me an answer whos had this problem n knows how to fix it. thnaks x x

If u want a good smartphone at reasonable price then go for 3230.It's costing something about 10,500 Rs.Or if u want a good music phone with all new tastes,then go for 3250.In my opinion go for 3250.
